I do think they went too harsh on the hook, it should be able to grab you around short corners but if I've learned anything "line of sight" is literally THE WORST thing in games to balance anything around because frequently no developers can get los remotely right.

His hook is now pretty much the opposite of what it was and snaps in midair for no reason because an invisible hitbox on some stair corners snapped it. That's not balance, that's just broken.

Can you fucking read dude? It says the cooldown is made 13 seconds long but starts cooldown ON ACTIVATION. Meaning that it is still only 8 seconds if you do the entire 3 seconds, but that if you cancel early to attack you will be longer on cooldown relative to the normal for exiting early.

That way it can't be too easily abused as a dodge and shot.
