Hey guys I am trying out SFV coming from guilty gear (casual player) and I just want to say that comparing revelator's combo mode which I completed and SFV trial mode, I am appalled of not being able to do the basic combos in the SFV trials. Are the windows normally stricter in SFV? I really want to play this game mainly because I'm tired of playing with a small group of people and also based on the streams I've watched, I've grown to like the macho looks of guys and thicc bodies of the SFV girls, but that's besides the point.

Also, will the girl in the screenshot be added to SFV any time soon?

Guilty is chain combos, sfv is not. Every link in sfv combos require a certain rhythm.

Sfv still has chaining, but only between two of the same light attack. For example you can mash light punch, light punch out without any timing, similar to a lot of GG. Everything else, you have to pause between button presses longer than in GG. You're probably hitting buttons too fast.

That "girl" is Poison, it's unlikely "she'll" be added ever but it's garunteed "she" wont be added by 2018.

She's also a tranny. She has a dick, canonically.

I think you're not understanding the difference between a character that is strong and one that feels strong.

I think the best way to think of it is, if you were to transport your character to another SF game where past versions of the same character were there, which version of the character would be stronger? Which character has better normals (hitboxes, frame data), and what not?

There might be players that only flock to Urien because Urien is stronger in regards to the tier list and in the context of the whole cast. However, some might find Urien fun because the buffs make Urien feel like a strong character in general, regardless of the context in which he exists.

Can anyone confirm if the PS4 slim killed legacy controller support? I used my ps3 stick to play Revalator multiple times on my friends OG ps4, but for whatever reason my slim won't recognize the controller anywhere no matter what. The google search I did had multiple people saying to enable legacy support in settings but if that exists I certainly can't find it.

Mika was FUN. She wasn't broken she was crazy. S2 nerfed so much FUN and then added bullshit in focused areas like Laura.

Hard nerfs are rarely a good idea because it doesn't do anything positive for the game. The players of those characters are either resentful or they switch characters and so the meta just shifts. Buff focused patches are always going to make for a more entertaining game. The most lopsided balanced games in the FGC are often the most loved.

I think hype comes from the crowd loving their game. It also needs tension. I think a game just needs to be fast paced and for players to feel their characters are strong/fun.

Parry is in 3S. We don't need it in another SF in the same fashion as it was in SF3. Let SF titles be their own thing.
