I might be projecting here a little bit, but Pharah definitely feels like she's almost chasing after this image of "the perfect soldier". When you stick her next to Zarya or someone like Tracer or Mercy, the difference in their motivations is really glaring. She's not fighting out of a love for her country like Zarya, she's not fighting for the good of the world or it's people. She's literally fighting for the sake of becoming the hero of justice she thought the former Overwatch members, including her mother, were. A lot of the roles I want are already doable by existing heroes, but they all have problems.

A mobile support hero that can dive with Tracer/Genji already exists in Sombra.

A hero that punishes close knit and grouped up tactics exist in Pharah and Winston, but Winston's underpowered and Pharah is actually countered by deathball heroes (Soldier and McCree).

I also wanted a tank that forces long range engagements, Roadhog arguably does that, but he does so in the most retarded way possible.

I've recently got into Overwatch because the community in dota 2 was driving me crazy how toxic it is. I cannot believe how bad the community in this game is, the amount of flaming, blaming and lack of teamwork is unbelievable.

However, you know it's an online game so I can get over that and work with it. The fact that people openly tell people to KYS and other suicidal things isn't cool though. You may think you're super trendy and hip, but you're just another nerd like me playing a computer game for fun.

A lot of people have social, or mental health issues, especially in young males. Fortunately I have gone through the period in my life where I have had to deal with these things, but a lot of people have it coming for them as they go through their teen years.

Suicide is an unfortunate statistic in the world and encouraging it because someone played a computer game poorly, or said something you didn't like is horrible and we should be proud to make our community better than basic insults like that.

Blizzard also originally intended that this game would have no limitations whatsoever on hero picking and yet now even QP has 1 hero limit.

Blizzard doesn't necessarily know how this game should be. I've been enjoying Oasis a lot because there are so many routes at all points so it's not as chokepoint heavy as most maps. It is possible to create a superior version of Overwatch that is not centered around Reinhardt.

He's not necessarily wrong though. I've run into quite a few aimbotting bastion players that had a pocket mercy on them that were absolutely merciless.

The aimbot obviously helped, but even if you miss 20% of your shots he's still a force to be reckoned with. The only way we kept it in check was with D.Va matrix and roadhog hooks.

I've climbed 1000 ranks, mainly supporting. I can say with certainty that Lucio's performance based SR gains/losses are insanely skewed, not in his favor. Zen's seem more in line. How to fix the 3 worst shitters in the meta:

- can move at half speed while healing self in recon mode

- new E abilities in both recon/sentry modes:

- recon scan: (2 second duration, 14 second cooldown) allows bastion see enemies through walls while in recon mode within 50 meters

- assault beacon: (4.5 second duration, 14 second cooldown) Can throw down a bionic field sized beacon that reduces reload time by 50%, increases fire rate by 33%, can blocks placement of wall/turrets/sentries/translocators/fields in its proximity.

Now has options to tank a little, recon mode isn't useless, and ultimately is more viable in providing extensive support from vantage points to his team.

With minor coordination thats all you need. Hes a stationary target who sits out in the open. Dva walks up and holds down right click, and soldier and ana and even hanzo or widow just walks up an shoots him in the face. Again, hes stationary. The only reason bastion cheese works at low, low, low, like just-made-an-account ELO is because he requires like the bare minimum of coordination to take down, so once you get two players on the same team who have any idea how to play the game, or you go to comp where everyone is in coms and tryharding, hes literally one of the worst heroes in the game.

I see less Sombras than Bastions at ~3000. Her hacking speed is one of the few things that wasn't wrong with her.
She can't deal significant damage, she announces she's snuck behind the team to everyone, her unstealth animation is loud and long, she has no survivability considering she needs to be in melee range to deal any damage, her Ult is interesting but lacks oomph while requiring her squishy self to literally jump into the middle of the enemy team.
And they take a fifth of a second of her hacking animation.
WHY?

Admittedly she needed a nerf, but this is ridiculous. Her niche was that she had a shit ton of armor.
