there are a lot of pitfalls to the gamecube controller and i would argure that the pro controller is better in a lot of regards. the issue is looking at it objectively as most people hav nostalgia for the gamecube and thus the controller is that much better. i feel the same way about the n64 controller but its honestly not quite as good as i think.

Got this in the mail today. Interesting game called Face Training, which came with a nice aesthetic stand for white DSs along with a "Facening Scan" GBA cartridge which has a little pop-up camera, which is cute.

The game was made before DSi's came out, so the cartridge was a cool workaround solution. Pretty interesting stuff, I'm gonna get a DS Lite soon and start making goofy faces in front of it.

The amiibos can be scanned whenever you're in the game to give you a free health boost and a Copy Ability. Some Abilities are specific to certain Amiibos (Mario gets Fire, Pit and Dark Pit get Archer, Smash Bros. My guy, my friendo, pally, buddy. Robobot may very well be the BEST kirby game in the entire franchise. The robot feels much more like an extension of kirby than a gimmick that shows up at the ends of levels. The music is fantastic, the theming is great, the little backstory bits in the boss descriptions are top notch. You might be enjoying the game up until the ending section, but HOLY SHIT, the final level/ boss is so amazing that you'd be personally harming yourself if you spoil it.

After finding the first 3DS one pretty insipid and predictable, I'm gonna have to ask you to go into a little bit more detail about what makes it better than that one cause it looks like roughly the same to me.

Alright, so like to start with. the robot armor isn't nearly as much of a gimmick as the other previous gimmicks, like ultra abilities or the hypernova. For starters, it's used more in a puzzle mechanic sort of way, where there are parts where you need to get off of the armor, back on it, find hidden armor to be able to pull things off later in the level. That sort of thing.

There's a lot of little tiny quality of life improvements as well. The amount of times you need to use the gyro controls can be counted on one hand. The amount of times you'll have to kill yourself to reset a puzzle is rather tiny, as are the times where that wouldn't even fix it. There are special sections with the jet and wheel powered robobot which appear often enough so that they don't feel underutilized. The game will tell you what levels the golden stickers are found in so you don't have to hunt for them blindly. The stickers themselves can be used to customize the mech, instead of them just being things that have just to collect... although you can only equip one on each arm.

There's the leimotiff of the haltman work's company's theme throughout the game, which is done to symbolize their takeover of the planet. They also use a lot more techno music this time around to add to this. And I can't emphasize this enough, DO NOT spoil the last portion of the game. I really can't get into too much details about that last part without ruining it, please.
