I have a PD2. Pardoner isn't actually needed. Incineration and Vapors have 2 overheat and they last long enough. Casting again just overwrites the previous one.

glass mole doesn't apply to max atk. It only takes your min. atk and then adds it to both your min/max. For example if your attack is 1000-2000 and you have one glass mole card it will go to 1100-2100 not 1100-2200

It really wasn't, it was just a base damage and class selection-fest where gear reliant builds were unplayable. Take off them rose-tinted goggles, it was just as much of a cleric and psycho jamboree as it is now.

Depends on what you want your homunculus to be able to use and what you mean by "making homunculus good". As it is now, I'd say Wiz 3 and Linker because JP and sleep are decently used by it and it probably can't fuck up Magic Missile since it's range and targeted.

Someone was talking about FF14 vaguely last thread mentioning card minigames, but it made me wonder. What games besides that have decent ACTUAL minigames. Not PVP arenas or stuff like Mabinogi's raft and air balloon minigames or anything, but games detached from the combat/battle system.
This game has that shitty RNG card game.(and some gimmicks that are sort of games but not really worth doing.)
Trickster had a card game that I never once played, because as far as I remember it was more pointless than ToS's.

Wasn't there a meem a while back when R8 was out saying that you don't need to grind at all for R8 and you can just blow yourself to 315 with the cards you get from exploring maps and some questing?

I explored all the maps back when the bonus card was the thing so the only thing left for me was to hit Rank 8 first. I'm just not sure if Storage or Maven is the better grind spot or if I should hang on to any more level 11 cards.

Some of your classes require Bow/Xbow, Musketeer's obviously require a musket and some can be used with whatever.

You'll naturally have only a good weapon and as a Musketeer it will obviously be your musket, so you should pick low circle classes that aren't weapon locked like Wugushi.

this is not really true.

sapper 3 double the skill base damage so your brom lv 10 goes from 500 to 1k. not really a big deal, it's 2k~5k extra damage at best. it does not work with your weapon + stats + hats + buff attack

claymore is the one who benefits the most from this since it has a innate 300% already but it's still shit at r8: one hit, slow setup, unlike broom that even at lv 5 does wonders as long as you upgrade your 315 weapon and even better with wiz support.

That's the build I'm working with. Maybe you can see the reasoning in Pard2 here. For me it's a bit more support and not as heavy offensively, which is something I enjoy. Obviously it will open up a bit with Taoist. I dunno, though. I never found the real appeal in being able to res, makes people relax a bit too much.

Priest might be good if you somehow fuck up and have to ress someone. I would pick miko and priest instead pard2.

Something about Archpain makes me weirdly horny. The way he challenges me to a duel whenever i afk in Fedi and then when i'm there he does no damage as a Cleric 2->Priest->Paladin->monk->miko. I'm not really sure how this came to this but i might ask him to share his autism.
