I recommend pirating Revelator and trying that instead, then see if you can get some games in at your local to see if you like it. Most people moved on from Sign to Rev so you won't find many players online especially if you're in the US.

I meant compared to PS4, but you're right, PS4 to PC is also a leap in loading times if you've got an SSD or fast HDD and having an options menu allows you to reduce the input delay significantly but at least even PS4 doesn't have dips from my experience.

Yo has any Ryus adjusted to the patch?

I've been slamming my head into SFV for 3 weeks and I got demoted from ultra gold to ultra silver because of these nerfs. The back Axe Kick buff only helped vs Balrog (seen daigo use it cuz I'm a dick rider). But I can't find any other uses. I feel as if I have limited options.

It seems like the other characters relied on throw gimmicks kept theirs but Ryu lost his.

Also how do you approach people safely? Walking up and blocking is frustrating and boring. Why am I playing Ryu like a grappler? parry is so unreliable and frustrating to use.

That was the deciding factor between it and blazgreen for me. Central Fiction is still 60$.

I'd played blazgreen before and really liked it. GG might turn out better for me, but so far it seems a little too complicated. BB seemed like a middle ground between sfv simplicity and gg complexity.

I think they should remove his ex shoulder armor. He has plenty of tools to get around fireballs and is already above average at all other facets of the game(normals, damage, mixups), he should have poor wakeup, just like Balrog, who also excels in everything else.

Ex headbutt is not safe on block or whiff. It's very negative. All other shoulders are safe according to FAT, but they are -2. If it whiffs or is blocked it is YOUR turn. A lot of Uriens will try to unga after headbutt, don't let them. They're -2. Try to confirm from a light. I use a 3-frame reversal/normal everytime and it ALWAYS hits.

Knee drop is weird on block, but you should try to AA it anyways. It's pretty obvious so just dp it, and if you character has shit aa/no upper body inv reveral, neutral jump attack or block abd prepare to throw tech.

Shoryuken is really only usable if they predict a jump-in, or you jump from so far away it can be used on reaction.

If you play a good ground game(something every shoto does not have), they will never be able to shoryu a jump on reaction.

As someone who owns both fighting games and Xenoverse, Xenoverse is not a fighting game. It's an action rpg. Don't treat it like one, it's not either xenoverse or a fighting game.

Don't get ttt2 now. Online is dead, and any matches you'd find offline or online would be against people years and years better than you.

Get Xenoverse 2 if you like dragonball and want a fun, casual game with a decent margin for skill.

Get sfv if you're new to fighting games. Fgs require a lot of dedication and time and sfv is a good entry-level fg.

If you're not new to FGs but want an active one now get guilty gear xrd revelator, or w/e fg you like the most.

I think the reason there isn't a community left for USF4 is because the game had a really long competitive life desu.

Back in the day you only had a few tournaments a year. With SF4 we had nonstop tournaments small, medium and large for 7 years straight. That was never before seen in a competitive fighter before.

And desu there really was no place for USF4 to go. The game had been figured out.

You look at matches like Xian vs Momochi where they just turtle endlessly because they are hyper aware of every single option every character in the game has.

Infiltration realized this which is why he started changing characters around so much in hopes of throwing people off.

Guilty Gear is the game that got me into fighting games and I still switched P and K, it just makes more sense to have mainly upper body moves in the top row and lower body ones in the bottom.
