Get into the social cliques where aimbotters are rampant. The easiest way to do this is to be, or pretend to be, a girl. Then try to join DA/Recursion/RO/CLAB/TIW/BAX/AC/CLOP/etc/etc/

Play for awhile, be flirty, socially engineer and manipulate so that eventually someone offers to give you the software to help you out. You'll probably have to erp or something, but it'll work out.

If you're a regular shitter who doesn't want to put in the time and effort to socially engineer yourself access to the cheating tools, the next bet is making them yourself. For what it's worth, lots of people have done just this and there are multiple different kinds of cheat programs for the game.

FYI about 8-10% of the population are cheaters. Not all of them are 5kdr lag wizards either. A lot of people only even manage 1-2 kdr using hacks, which just kind of astounds me.

Here's a good way to practice:
Figure out everything that has to happen between pressing a letter key on your keyboard and the letter you pressed showing up to someone else on 4chan.

If you can recite that without looking at notes, you have a better understanding of computers than most actual tech professionals. The best way to reach that point is to just start messing around with shit and having fun.

Planetside has 3,500 players playing this game, when i last played it was around 2,500 and it was going down again, what happend to make more players play it and is it worth coming back ?

the RPM/FPS thing is only one thing that shits me about this game....its a small one. But its still here (not to mention that it should be fixed long time ago so maybe it is here again?).
And your are right...the game itself has even bigger and more important problems.
let me take the conection speed (you already mentioned) as example:
The game still lacks a ping wizard detection aka if you have a ping of 250+ you should get kicked...point.
I know that they wont bring it, cause it will lock out some of the eastern european and asian gamers and would cut their small playerbase even more...so they let it be like it is and the players have to deal with some lagwizards...some because a bad connection and some, well, lets say there are some tools...and that makes the game frustrating for normal players and make them leave the game, which...oh wait...CUT THEIR SMALL PLAYERBASE...

It shouldn't be based on ping, bad 250ms+ ping doesn't help, it's more of a frustration than anything. The lagwizards are actually fucking with their packets, not their ping. If you're dropping more than 5-10% of your packets you should get kicked. A sane developer would've implemented some kind of basic packet analysis algorithm to flag players like this just for the sake of network management.

honestly I don't feel like it's all that useful. The health regen does pretty much the exact same thing but you carry it around with you and health doesn't regen like shields so it's also more genuinely useful. I can't even notice a difference between a fight with shield bubbles being used and a fight without them.

If they were massively buffed they'd probably be really effective for tryhard squads vs pubbie platoons as a force multiplier, but good luck getting that across to redditside.
