Making a crit based quad memechief totem build using hegemony's era and decided to lvl with memebreakers until 70.

They're unreasonably good. It's not about being build enabling, it's about being build improving. They give huge power charge generation without requiring something like OoS, They give reduced mana reservation which might let you fit in an extra aura or at least save a passive point. And they more or less make you stun immune. These are all good traits individually, and wrap them up in a package that fits in a slot that doesn't have anything competing for it, and make it extremely rare, and you get skyforths.

I'm trying to build a shield charge Doryani's Fist character, with Avatar of Fire and Call of the Brotherhood to convert all the lightning to fire damage, and then proliferate ignite for area of effect. If you mean you crafted with vorici then you don't understand how it works. It only guarantees the colors it says it will have, everything else will be random but biased towards the base stat colors of the item.

Good example is the ice nova in strongboxes and the spells the totem bosses have.

I really want a Uul-Netol's Embrace build to work, but I feel like Bone Nova is just a worse Molten Burst. I get great clear speed but single target is lacking.

Molten Burst tooltip is pretty similar, but it's deceptive because the balls from Ngamahu's overlap with each other and all splash in a small area.

Maybe grab a couple of Writhing Jars if you can fit them in, so you can proc the nova on boss fights. Also, have you considered not using Chain? If your clear speed is already super good then you could replace it with something else that might improve single target.

I think you're largely right in thinking that Uul-Netol's Embrace is just a more niche and less effective Ngamahu's Flame, and that's a damn shame because it's a cool item and Breachlord uniques deserve to be more spectacular.

After doing some testing I've concluded that the Bone Nova is best used as a sort of remedy for low aoe/slow clearspeed builds. For my Raider I've found that keeping Conc Effect on Cyclone for rares and letting the nova take care of the trash was a good combo.

There's a point where not having enough damage makes it even harder to do damage. You won't leech as much and the small windows some bosses give you aren't enough to kill them fast.

I've done a bunch of non-meta builds this league that still have the damage to deal with t15/16 bosses.

Not to mention this game has a fuckton of builds that used to be popular, didn't get any nerfs their way yet fell out of meta. Still just as viable as they used to be though.

i really wanted to try to get a cast while channel incinerate going that scales posion via added chaos damage and projectile but the only two fire projectiles are magma orb and fireball. And I can't convert ice to fire without using a pyre (which means no double snakepit) or avatar (or xoph's)+cold to fire gem.

It's just like cast while channeling is so garbage unless your using it for firestorm or vortex

Are non-crit builds shit? I want to make gottagofast Raider and I don't have enough points to get good crits. Actually I get similar damage when going with flat damage nodes instead (that is, 424% increased damage). Should I sacrifice some goingfast?

Also, is Arrow Dancing worth it? It would make sense to take it on ranger character, but then there are so many faggots than jump on your face in this game.

That's a completely vague question with no definite answer, attack builds are generally better off with non-crit in the case of flat damage scaling (Doomflecth's prism, HoWaA) but otherwise go crit because there's no good reason to NOT go crit on the left side of the tree, it all depends on your pathing and method of scaling

Elementalist/Slayer can just DPS through it if they have their Reduced Reflect node and decent Leech.
If Phys Reflect as Phys-based, swap a gem for Phys to Lightning.
If Ele Reflect, you probably just don't do it.

Scion became garbage after Chaos Spark was nerfed to shit, because 50% projectile penetration from Deadeye and FREE 1% damage leeched from Berserker was way too UBER.

Now she is shit.

The only way they can fix her is to make her Ascendancies better in terms of bonuses they give her, and allow her to have 9 points, instead of 8.

When they roll out 3.0 - her Asc should be 3+3+3. Only then she will not suck and be worthwhile to play.

Explosive Arrow/Causitic Arrow/Tempest+CoC Spark might be good enough to pull off with her.
