The big issue with using Prana is that it's just not as easily recognizable as tied to magic.

Mana is such a common fantasy word that people will immediately understand why magicians would have Mana Circuits. If you showed your average gamer the name "Mana Defense", they would probably be able to figure out it uses up MP to buff defense.

Meanwhile prana is a completely unknown word that would probably just be unnecessarily confusing. It doesn't help that mana is just another way to call prana so it's all a wash anyways.

Quite honestly, yes. My favorite characters are in Apoc, and the best part of it were the fight scenes which can only be improved by being animated.
