I just got the jackal cut-scene, How long does it take for jackals to spawn on floors? Will they chase me if I change floors? Is there any good method to avoiding them so a floor can be properly looted?

Is it the orange or cyan escalator up from Hiromatsu to get to Jin-Die and the next elevator? I don't want to waste time on side rooms until I have all the locks open.

It depends on the floor. As a rule of thumb, the smaller the floor is, the faster they appear. In Tata for example they spawn after just 2 minutes.

Cloak shrooms and Slow-motion shrooms allow you to bail without them noticing/reacting fast enough. When you hear the siren, chow down and run your ass off because they CAN teleport nearby. Pick whatever is closest, you're better off redoing the floor than facing them.

It has a min and max range for the timer, if anything was 'random' it'd be the deciding factor for the max and min timer of said map.
However the said size of the map should still give you a vague idea of how long you have till they spawn.

I know I'm unlucky but I have 26 Jackal X & Y and 23 Jackal Z kills without a single BP drop.

It's not fun and the only reason I'm doing it is because I have a lot of UIP chemo and mahogany, and about 5+ of each red metal sitting around.

I think the scythe is a much more fun (see: exploring new floors) and reasonable thing (secret shop sells the mats) to go after than a specific jackal BP drop, unless you just want their clothing to repair then it isn't that bad since I have everything they have multiple times over.

I don't know why you quoted me like I'm not doing exactly that. I'm just letting people know of the Jackals absurdly bad drop rates. It can take hours upon hours to even get the blueprint drop you want, then when you finally get it you have to grind for a long ass time to get the materials, and if it's a gear that uses aluminum then good fucking luck.

Also I'm already plenty prepped up for later floors, I have Katana, Welding Gun, Hot Iron, Claws, KAMAS, and soon to be Sniper Rifle in their final form, with Katana at +4 and welding gun at +2.

Later floors will have to be plenty bullshit for Katana cheese not to work, because as it stands now the weapon makes an absolute joke of anything the game throws at you.

Uncle Death takes your deathbag away, all equipped weapons/armor and shrooms included.

First you fight a naked unarmed hater.
Then you fight a hater that is wearing the armor you had on when you talked to Uncle Death.
Then you fight a hater that is wearing the weapon you had active (in your hands) when you talked to Uncle Death.
Then you fight COEN (reduced hp from 34 COEN).
After COEN a chest appears and has all of your death bag's contents.

So the trick is to keep your shit equipped, and have a weapon out and active that you want to kill COEN with, because that's all you'll have to fight him.

All of these happen in a tiny little sumo ring, if you or the opponent get knocked out, you'll get pushed down, and then artillery starts blowing you up. So the trick to the naked haters with your fists fight is generally to just rage punch them off the side. You have a grace period to run out and pick up the gear they drop before the next hater spawns in the ring.

I raid low rank people all of the time because sometimes I don't want a fucking 45k SPLithium payday. That just puts a target on MY back when I'm only interested in spending 25-30k of it. I just need a quick 10-11k to supplement my expedition SP to finish off a blueprint and have almost no SP left over.

When you can get hundreds of thousands of SP at will, and that's a BAD thing, using low rank people to manage your income is actually the smartest thing to do if you want to avoid unnecessary attention.

It's too late to take the devraids away. The devraid itself should change, but be accessible to all players to at least give everyone an opportunity to raise their rank. Above a certain threshold of TDM I think the devraids should be inaccessible. Like 4000 or 5000 TDM seems fair. After that the only way to raise your rank would be to face off against other players and a balance would eventually emerge as well as make the TDM leaderboards actually mean something.

The whole TDM system needs to just be redesigned from the ground up. It is needlessly punishing for less informed (newer) players and is probably a pretty big factor in player's quitting before getting particularly far due to not being able to hoard resources like they think they need to.

It ridiculously promotes people all flocking to the same region, and even gives you a free switch so when you realize this you can freely go right to California. This hurts the system overall since it's not supposed to be as rewarding as it is for the CA players.

Then there's the fact that for experienced players, even having defenders is nothing but a potential negative. They can get kidnapped, losing all their decals/equipment, and they don't deter any serious attackers at all, and they can't go on expeditions.

It's honestly just kind of a mess and doesn't accomplish any of the goals it set out to do.

It's just 89 the +4 though is 97. So the jump is pretty noticable as a multhit weapon. It's probably one of my strongest depending on the enemy. That fuck Goto though seems to have bullshit frames and misses a few hits on the first two.hits of the combo if I go for his sides.
