Quick question about locations in FF15 in chapter 14

I used Umbra to get back to the past, i'm trying to get back to Lestallum or even Duscae to do side quests and hunts before I finish off the game. Can I get back to these areas in this chapter? I'm sitting here looking at the world map trying to figure it out how to get to these areas but I can't see how to

Also chapter 13 was not bad at all. It's different sure but I enjoyed the change in pace. Granted I haven't beaten the game yet but the only thing i'd change is for it to have a bit more plot development. Maybe everytime you sleep you get a little flash back explaining some plot points or something

How important is it to do all the quests in the towns? My autism compels me to clear them but it's such a fucking pain in the ass and most of the time it's only consumables or weapons/recipes for stuff thats obsolete few towns later. I don't even know if the earth keys are worth it even more.

I just wanna go through the story and do the explorations once for the item points and shit.

No really, that's the only reason. She's an objective downgrade in every other way:

Raise is not even worth using when compared to arise. When you raise a unit with your healer, you then need to heal that unit or they just die all over again. It's only situationally usable to kill CoD in the arena.

She also lacks any capactiy for dualcast, making her immediately shit. People seem to forget that Refia is only considered a poor man's alternative IF you give her DC. If you take that away, you have literally nothing.

She has no offensive boosts. No status immunities (whereas refia is only prone to sleep and disease, meaning she can always esuna your team's ass in a pinch). No

The ONLY things she has going for her are passive MP regen (which refia later gets through enhancements) and barwaterga. But both units have so much MP that this is a nonissue, and the lack of DC / embolden makes it totally wasted on her. You don't need MP regen to cast a single Curaja every turn.

She has a lower ceiling for heals too, so it isn't just a "she's a worse unit, better healer" kind of deal. Dualcast is fucking NECESSARY.

While Noctis is good, I'd say Cecil is more of a priority.

Noctis just requires waaaaaay too much considering he starts at 5* and you'll probably get him to 6* quickly, while for Cecil you can just make him wait at 3* and more for a fast leveling. He also builds his limit burst VERY FAST which means you can pretty much keep casting your party buff every 3 turns.

Noctis on the other hand has the longest LB to charge. You can't use it often and the buff only lasts 2 turns instead of 3.

So Cecil first, and when he's done just pump Noctis when you can for a progressive increase.

To get dualcast you need to TM farm a Ludmille, which a lot of new players can't obviously do. And even if you do have one if you don't spend the lapis it'll take a month of macro farming.

So really Luka is the better option for a lot of users right now, and it doesn't matter if you personally can't see it.

The other two appeals of refia: arise and embolden.
Raise is not a replacement for arise. They don't even do similar things.

A single cast healer can't successfully case Raise without the unit just wiping again next round. It's the closest thing to a wasted turn you can have.
It's like using an amulet of lifesaving in nethack: that swarm of soldier ants doesn't just go away because you revived yourself.
An off-raiser I'd the only way to get around this, because obviously you need Luka to be doing her heals.

She has no ATK boost, and everybody and their mother learns either Focus or Shellga to cover her one SIDEGRADE. Not even an advantage, a fucking sidegrade. And arguably a worse one too since the only substitute is Cecil's LB, and big surprise he learns Focus.

The game is not a charity. It doesn't care if you don't have DC. If you don't have it, you are at a disadvantage and that's that.

What do I need them for? I haven't lost a single match yet and I only swapped out one shitter who never held the ball anyway for Wakka who is never holding the ball either. It's not difficult, just mindless, boring and time consuming. Every match is just passing the ball to Tidus who casually walks up to the goal and scores. Rinse and repeat.
