Semi-Coherent isn't good enough - the dmp has to make sense like a noncompressed file.

Keep loading up the .SPCs and keep searching through the DMPs in Hex Viewer. You find a marked improvement over what's been done before post it, but we're looking for complete coherency.

This is basically just trying every compression technique in the book until something works - and if it works, we can take the algorithm and use it for ALL the .spc files

Here's my theory.

Out of several SPC files i tested.

95.dmp comes out the most coherent of all the dmp files of all the SPC's i tested. According to defs.h algorithm of 95 is "COMP_SCPACK" pic related

So assuming SC in SCPACK stands for Spike Chunesoft. This must a Spike Chunesoft thing

So I think the algorithm is SCPACK
