It's not that the process of creating a map itslef is hard, it's just that I suck dicks at map design and it takes a lot more time than I thought.
Initially I thought that I'd code a base and would just slap some maps, graphics and a story and that'd be that, but even writing all the code and fixing all of the bugs is taking much more time than I thought.

I have played it and my recommendation is to not play it.

The idea is good and the art is nice, but for gods sake this game feels more slow paced and repetitive than any Harvest Moon game I've ever played.

The gameplay can be summarized with the following steps.
1. Wake Up.
2. Milk Cows.
3. Go to shop to buy gifts (if the shop has any).
4. Give gifts to the girls (lots of reloading to find out which gifts they like).
5. Try to trigger a new scene by leaving the screen in direction of town and then going back to the girl (the game never explains that you have to do this, so you get stuck if you don't know this).
6. Buy cows.
7. Enter Forest.
8. Pick up items (and hope you find some more gifts).
9. Level cows by running in circles on patches of grass for 10-20 minutes. (Yes. Really.)
10. Return to town and have cows appraised.
11. Sell beef in shop and/or replace your old milk cows with new ones.
12. Try to trigger a new scene.
13. Go to bed.

It takes several hours to even get a resemblence of a h-scene. And even better, for both girls your character gets cockblocked during the first actual sex-scene by someone else entering the house.

Could anyone help me with Wolf RPG Editor? I'm trying to make the current translation of ver1.03 work with ver2.01. I can change the item names, descriptions, npc names, quest names, spell names, and equipment names, but I can't change the menu text or the status names under HP/MP.
Also whenever I try and copy the japanese text out of the User Database it shows up as gibberish, even though I'm in japanese unicode and language packs installed.
If I could just copy the text I could figure out quests #26-66 which aren't translated.

Your party says they'll head to some place in the north-west after the game ends, and the screen then cuts to black and the credits roll, but is that really the end? No "post-game"?

Hell yeah I am. Had a blast with this game. How the gameplay worked took some time to get used to, but it was alright and army building is always fun, and there were some neat gameplay design decisions that were completely new to me that I liked.
Like, gameplay innovation in a porn game? Never thought I'd see the day.
Character balance was a bit wonky, though, but I can't really expect perfect balance too, can I?
Fucking red-haired shield Ogre is as strong as the archer Ogre and berserker Ogre combined and did some 300-tier soloing. The sheer insanity of that unit was the source of much hilarity. And the Werewolf managed to be even more insane with her reinforcement calls, tank stats, good damage and one of the few AoE skills in the game.

The scenes were generally good, though sometimes the writing was kind of monotonous. Also, is there some active team handling the translating of this game here? I can't really check the translations for errors since I don't understand runes beyond the letters of my favorite image tags, but I'm up for proof-reading the translation.

Any news on the 2.0 release date? Hell, when was 1.25 even released?

Also, what does the Love score affect? I remember the Werewolf learned to throw rocks once when I fed her 10 Jerky.

It's weird, just played the game and it is indeed short.
The game also differs from the demo, no Japanese styled dojos or so, which is a shame.

If you do extract the game files it has a bunch of images for various other places and enemies, either just leftovers or for planned content.

You can romance girls. But you can also rape, kidnap, train and sell them as slaves.
