What should I do to prepare for 26F boss and beyond? The highest items I have are 3* armor (+0) and 3* Cleaver Saber and Masamune (+0). For 2* weapons all I have is the Iron 2* (+4).

Nope, but Mahogany seems to have a way higher spawn rate than anything else I've found. I have over 20 Mahogany now just from checking the picnic area on floor 36 when farming Goto.

It's one of the few (if not only) weapon that actually reaches it's 'final' form and isn't subjected to that ridiculous damage loss to durability ratio. However, its damage even in that form is worse than the 4star rapier (which is probably where you'd want to leave the rapier instead of taking it to 5star).

Fire is useful, and because of that quirk it's actually useable, so it mostly comes down to taste, but rapier is generally better.

memechete is probably better as a general "player weapon" because of the fire damage that obliterates armor in higher tiers, but the rapier does more damage and is better as a defense/AI weapon because the AI are literal gods with the moveset timing

I imagine you're probably somewhere below floor 20. All weapons only have three forms, and they'll skip tiers of material a lot of the time. Additionally, there is a bug or a really stupid design decision that 99% of final form weapons lose attack in direct ratio to durability, so by the time your weapon's about to break, it is only doing like 5% of its max attack.

So hammer is only really useful from 1-20, maybe up to 26 if you're tenacious, but there's way better options by that point. Then when you upgrade it to its final form, it does an appreciable amount of damage, for about 10 swings before it becomes useless.

Any tips on fighting the bullet (?) tubers mk-3? The ones with machine gun and flamethrowers. When I have a gun it's fine but when I have to melee, I never know when it's going to shoot fire. Is there a tell?

I like to wait for the laser sight to appear and then rush it down before it gats me down. At least I won't get flamethrower'd if they have the laser sight out. If I really want to be sure I hit them when I rush them down, I use the fist rage move.

Yep. I've been gathering a lot of data, but it takes a while to actually fill out a sheet as even one class. I can tell you that at the very least in 31-40, Attacker can get every single blueprint, but some are way more rare than others.

The question for me at this point is if switching classes might flipflop some of that rarity. On Attacker I find almost 10 Pork Chopper BPs for every one Masamune. If I were to switch to Shooter and suddenly that's reversed, the idea would have much more merit.

Which speaking of I probably should start playing as Shooter for resource runs, I've done a lot on Attacker already and I'm confident in the droprates I've got for it.

Any floor marked Iron 31-40 on the spreadsheet in the OP has the chance to have ultra-pure iron. Alternatively, the secret shop always has one to buy for 10k, and his stock refreshes every hour.

Wakaba and Koshi-Yama both fulfill that qualification and have a red metal trap room chest, so I'd suggest those.

Snails are insurance and bankable money rather than being the most efficient. Whenever I need a new character, bam nearly max level instantly. Whenever I need a little extra cash because I didn't make quite enough on a run, bam snail/reward chest and I've got enough - no danger of being raided while I'm out getting that last chunk. Granted raiding also fulfills that need, but snails/chest are easier.

Then there's also SPL, I can shred a character, buy another one for 50k, level it up, shred it, rinse and repeat for as many snails/money as I have for however the fuck much SPL I feel like having at any given moment.

Okusa expeditions can also bring back Transparungus.

Just beat Jackson, if I try to farm him for WE Green, will I need to go through the bomb disarming bullshit again, or skip straight to to the fight ?

I may be missing out on constant wars, and DMs, but the content isn't hard enough to need revives and my storage will max eventually. I'm pretty sure they didn't intend for EVERYBODY to be joining one region, but it is sort of normalizing in that all the big fish are in one easy spot to find and murder with evershrooms.

Hey guys I have 3 questions:

1.Anyone here tested or theorized about purposely gimping yourself to take advantage of Giant Killer? Like if I have a Striker and I only level up dex/luk up to the required stat to use weapons or don't level them at all so I'm lower level than the mobs?

2.Also anyone know what happens if I have Living On the Edge and Lifeshroom at the same time? Which triggers first?


3.Thirdly. For example I have 1000 HP and grilled lifeshroom. I receive an attack that does 1600 damage. Do I die or do I live with 500HP?

Expedition time is simply a "I'm gonna be away for this long" button. Reward gains are negligible but exist. The more expeditions you send, the more money and goods you will get period.

1 hour and 3 hour expeditions are the same in terms of items gained (in my experience, I used to do 6 hour expeditions before bed and noticed very little difference), the only thing that increases is splithium and gold, and even then it's not a significant increase. After fighting U10 I'm literally fucked, I got no supplies and my current weapons are too slow to use on coen, after several expeditions I got sick of waiting for slowmungus and now I'm on coen, quater of his health gone with fuck all to work with.

Literally, if I lose this fighter I have no funds (until the next expedition arrives...) and shit, this is my only rank 4 fighter, all the rest are tier 3 shitters that can't fucking climb to coen, let alone coen where my fighter is.

5 doesn't necessarily suck, it just loses, and I'm not exaggerating, twice as much damage per durability lost. While most weapons go from 100% to 50% damage on their way to 0 durability, 5-star weapons are bugged and go all the way down to 0 damage at 0 durability. Combine that with their overall fragility in the first place and you get weapons that are basically only good for a few good hits. Very impractical, but useful in some situations where you're not expecting to use it more than a couple times. Very good with oakshrooms.

2. do that quest and craft the deathburner
3. look for katana recipe and upgrade it asap

It's not 5* weapons in particular, it's third-form (there's only three for each) weapons that suck.

Weapons before this form generally go down to about half damage when they're at near zero durability.

In their final form, their damage scales linearly with their durability. So 50% durability is 50% damage, meaning they lose their effectiveness extremely quickly. Pretty much any weapon that has a 4star version that's not the final version is much better off as the 4star because of this, the gain in attack from going to 5star means the 5star's only more effective for like 6 swings.
