Downgrading through safehax bricked my 3ds. Now it's really slow, on 2.1 and no apps launch at all. Cartridge updating won't work, safe mode won't work. Update won't work. Web browser won't work.

Alright, I decided to hack my n3DSXL, it's on 11.1.0-34U, I'm using 3ds.guide

I used soundhax just as the guide said, booted homebrew once, then I had to exit to shut the system off to take out the sdcard.

Now I put the decrypt9 stuff in the sdcard and tried to open the homebrew but it froze and just showed a red screen on the botton and a black screen on top.

So with sighax coming in the future, what advantages does that offer over A9LH now? I get that we can do stuff like dump the OTP, bootrom encryption keys and sign our own firmwares, but does that offer any tangible benefit to the average end user? Only thing I can see is the offline decryption and the fact that we don't have to sacrifice a firmware partition and the redundancy it provides.

I was also a little miffed about how the bootroms were dumped almost a year before A9LH went public. I don't know why they decided to keep quiet about it instead of just one-upping Delebile and Darksamus. A9LH was obselete before it was even general knowledge.

You NEED to update at the least. You don't need to restore on o3DS. n3DS won't boot so you have to restore.
However updating doesn't always work from 2.1, so you might need to follow the 9.2 ctrtransfer.

I did all the steps up to installing Decrypt9. I was on the step in which I had to re-launch the Homebrew Browser, but it was not launching. So what I did was update the firmware using smash, but now I can't launch anything and even pressing the powerbutton does not bring up the power off menu. Is there anyway I can fix this?

Bottom Screen has a button that looks like a snes controller, click it then you can see various titles you have installed. If you click on a title with a yellow caution sign, it means DLC is available for it.

Okay need help
Following the 3ds.guide and im on this step :
Go through all of the bird tips, then close the app normally and reopen it
Launching SoundHax immediately would cause these tips to appear on every launch of the Nintendo 3DS Sound until this is done
Play the SoundHax .m4a

But there is no soundhax.m4a that appears, just something called <3 nedwill 2016 that when i play, just ends up forceclosing the app
