Expansion seems good, Shadow ins't hot garbage anymore in my experience, Blood is tier 1 for now, so it really helped the worst classes.

I am playing a budget version with Angel of Word, Humpty Dumpy and no Cocytus or salamanders, most of the face damage comes from spells like DoD, Demonic and Angelic Barrage. Its amazing how much you can do from spells alone.
Maybe its not a glorious tier 1 meta slayer, but it works 4fun, even beat some tempo forest and elanas with it. Not that it means much now, but it happens.

What does your control sword look like? I've been running this with pretty good success, but I'm only A3. I feel like Tsubaki is a dead card or a losing play more often than not in the current meta, I rarely find a good time to play her.

Yup, that's the nature of a game in this style.
This and hearthstone (and many others) use the gain one mana a turn method and I personally think it's one of the worst styles out there.
Yes in MTG you get games where you don't draw lands or draw too many. Of course there is a drawback of this system but I think it's far better than the buildup 1 mana each turn system.
There are a few other games out there that don't even have a mana system, which is far more interesting and leads to these games developing unique systems in place of mana. Games like Gwent, or Solforge.

Hamsa cyclone is too narrow. Whiffs on blood completely, if you're not dead, does hit dorothy sometimes, but by turn 7 they either have the second dorothy ready or you're going to lose anyways. Against control Bahamut decks, it's cute to play 15/2 duck, but it's dead next turn and there's much better plays. Pre turn 10 tsubaki, DoD, basically any single card single target removal is better than a 2 card combo that leaves a dead body on board.
And turn 10 you have the option to DoD + Albert to take them down 5 or 7.

Honestly, you should improvise a lot instead of asking how to play a deck, you can't predict what cards you get at the beginning of each match and what your opponent has and what can you draw in the first 5 turns.
