Has anyone just grinded from 1-60? I usually autisticly complete every quest no matter how crappy the reward is. But I can't do that on nost so I could instead channel my autism to do zero quests instead.

I'm thinking just going full chink mode and grinding, only stopping to do class quests and some dungeons for gear. I assume you gain lots of gold doing this.

Nearly. I went to 54, but by then I was really feeling the burn. Was a warlock and ended with 600g, enough to buy my epic mount, preraid BiS, and shadoweave while leveling. Finished at 7 days played. Things to note:

Well I did a test run for leveling and got to 5 in an hour and a half by running from durotar to mulgore and grinding mobs.

I was playing very poorly though and did a few things wrong and wasted a lot of time.

My durotar run took 50 minutes to hit level 4 so I'm still not sure which strategy would be better under the stress of having thousands of players.

One would assume that mulgore is better because Tauren is by far the least played race, but I wouldn't be so sure. The zone itself seems quite small and because it's a complete flatland it's hard to find areas to grind mobs in. The quests you get at level 4 are also just going to be the same areas the level 1's and 2's and grinding.

Durotar segregates the players a lot more with the mountains and hills blocking line of sight and being more difficult to get around. And the Echo Isles is pointless to go to unless you're level 4+ and most players won't take the time to swim there at lower levels.

If you're behind the curve then I'd suggest exploring around and working your way to Mulgore to quest as an orc/troll, but if you're planning to speed level the second the server drops I honestly don't see it being worth your time to travel there and quest in the Tauren areas.

None of those mobs are why I'll be heading to the Isles. I will be going there to grind trolls until/unless it's too crowded. The lowbies will not get anywhere near the trolls and most will be dicking around in the water desperately trying to tag crabs and shit.
