I think the idea behind Poppy's W is to allow her to close the distance and they might have felt adding a dash block was acceptable given that she can use the block to set up a stun. But yeah the passive and the ult don't mesh that well with the simplicity of E->Q. And you don't really need to perform an E->Q combo 100% of the time. It's just strong because it allows you to do the most damage.

Shen is just bland. All you really do is hope you dash into someone and hit people with empowered auto's three times. The only fun to doing E->Q is when you land a 3-4 man taunt with Titanic Hydra but it's not saying "damn that Shen's good" it's "damn these players are stupid"

People will not complain about a jinx rightclicking a entire team even if ahead due to her absurd scalling on q.
Neither will people say anything about ekko being overall unkillable even if full ap due to his shield, movespeed, panic button for MAX outplays and healing and 4 second double dash.

This game caters to certain fanbases while other champs remain untouched and subpar for more than a year, or in some cases like old yorick, warwick, shen, etc, forever.

And there's the case of champs like Morde who every attempt at making him better and more enjoyable to play ends in a travesty between 3 champion archetypes that has no viable lane to be in.

That Lee Sin combo is absolutely retarded. Its like ult, Q, Q again auto attack, slow(also does damage) auto attack. And that combo kills every ADC at any point in the game. Completely unavoidable at times. Sometimes your support can do something, often he can't.

I think tanks are fine, colossus is just stupid though. Poppy and Maokai both are overpowered. Fervor needs to be better, or ADC's need something to be slightly stronger.

The thing was though that in the later parts season 6 you couldn't carry anything as top laner. AD champions were simply too strong after the mage update hit. But now they're too weak.

Have to agree though that Poppy is even worse of a rework than Vlad. Her kit doesn't even make sense it has so little synergy. Just feels like Riot threw random skills in there and observe how players would use it

Throughout season 6 you had many stuff that was 60%+ winrate in high ELO. You had kindred / graves early on and later on you had Nidalee which if you mastered could reset autos and have insane clear speeds making you completely outlevel the enemy jungle. You also had other stuff like Rek' Sai that was incredibly strong. Don't even get me started if you're a scripter, kog / Olaf are absolutely insane with their respective scripts

ADC / Support. I define this as one single role. Because it's a true pain if you main ADC and aren't duo queueing with a support. Same if you're support without a duo queue ADC. Most people at high ELO duo queue'd these roles and smashed the opposition. You had many ADCs in season 6 that were broken overpowered 60%+ winrate like Lucian.

I don't know who was more influential. Before the mage update top was definitely a whole lot better but after that mid was more or less equal if not slightly better since a lot of mids could just push and then avoid ganks from the jungle (unlike the longer top lane). Later on mid was the better role to carry from.

I think overall top was the hardest role to really carry from and jungle, by far the easiest.

If you think Support / ADC duo queue wasn't a very good way to get a really high winrate even in master tier then you probably have never played above diamond 5. There is a humongous difference between Diamond 5 ADC and master ADC. A master ADC positions himself well enough and because of it does twice the damage than the diamond 5 ADC given the exact same situation with same items.

You don't notice that difference if you have never played at high level.
