So, apparently, when you make a new choice and pick a different asset/flaw you keep your gains from chapters 1-5 and only your bases change. This means you can pick a speed asset, get to chapter 6, choose pick a new asset in Strength or Magic and you'll start with higher speed than before. Specially if you get blessed.

Also holy shit picking a magic asset as M Corrin does make the early game much easier. The Dragonstone becomes so much stronger.

If you have played PoR before, you should know pretty much what units to use. You can't really go wrong with any of the mounted units, although the later ones will probably struggle more.

Try to feed him some kills and keep him safe. Priests and bishops aren't usually dangerous themselves.

Curious because there are usually 2 or 3 spots less for units avaliable for use. Mainly concerned about this because of the one boat chapter with Astrid with the Crows stealing shit (Occult, Energy Drop and Speedwing) and the Halberdiers blocking the way made it difficult to get to in US hardmode to begin with.

And in Volkes case he was always squishy and nearly always had someone fighting him with a 40% or higher hit rate and got killed. Worries me because chapters take forever with the slow animations.

I prefer the Berserker approach for him. Stat boosters help him a lot early on and his tankiness makes him a terrific matchup against Ninjas in attack stance. He really shines as a Berserk.

in awakening why do mages feel so useless compared to combat units? They have no crit benefits like archers against flying units and physical users outspeed them and out damage them. Pairing up with a support that gives good defense stats hardly helps.

I wanted to use Nyx too but I just realized currently my Elise has more or less the same stats Sorcerer Nyx will have at 20/1. I don't know whether to marry Corrin to Charlotte or Elise though. He's +Mag/-Luck and speed blessed as FUCK. Killing Ryoma and Yukimura in chapter 6 with Corrin is one hell of a drug. Haitaka is an option too.

yeah mages have res but you can just use them to support the physical tanks/assassins so they have enough hp to live and kill off the mages. Then you just heal them up and continue. And as you said you have pegsus units that have resistance and they have the speed and physical advantage over mages making them mage killers unless the mages have wind magic which so far for me they hardly carry.

They should return to characters having a small group of others to support instead of making every male support every female. Also give an extra support for everyone, 3 supports (4 for an S which is just a love confession) just isn't enough to really detail a character.

I really like the way that the Cavalier promotion options are handled in this hack since they both offer nice utility options instead of the braindead choices like say Joshua's.

Paladins offer Savior and Renewal which allows them to rescue units without penalties (like say that lord who's probably already at max level by now) and have some pinch healing on the side. Especially useful for Franz who has Renewal.

Great Knights on the other hand have Daunt and Boon which makes them more offensively oriented since they can shrug off ailments and make enemies less bothersome to hit especially when leadership stars start becoming more common place.
