Sometimes you can heal your team as well. Never damage boost, always shoot. Shooting in tandem is mathematically more dps in all non-ultimate situations.

HP refresh is a double edged sword. A lot of people talk about Roadhog when they talk about farming ults, but it applies to D.VA as well. She's easy to hit and she's not particularly fast at killing anyone that's paying attention. She's good, but she has drawbacks.

The only argument that I hear people bring up is "muscle memory," but my muscle memory is trained with acceleration on.

Because it's inconsistent and it's another variable you have to train in. 1:1 movements will always be easier to learn and easier to be precise with.

Once you start throwing acceleration into the mix you have to in hyper control of your mouse to make sure you always move it at x speed to get y acceleration to be at c location. The same physical distance resulting in different in game distances depending on how fast you actually moved can easily make you over/undershoot because you didn't get the speed right.

There is simply no need for it, it's a crutch for people who want low sensitivity but can't be assed to move their arm more to turn around, and the pay the price with an unreliable system.

My guess is you have a 3-stroke movement with mouse acceleration on. You overshoot, then go back and overshoot less, then you land on your target. Now try without mouse acceleration and a lower sensitivity.
