Just got Rob Lucci 6* on Japan and I really don't get what Bamco wanted to do with this Unit special is just useless shit, 15 turns on max CD, after 15 turns I sure don't need a higher chance of matching Orbs, SW Shanks offers that on top of his boost in his CA. Push it down to somewhere around 5-6 turns, also reducing your RCV to 0, what a fucking retarded Idea as if a 3x boost is so fucking good. Also most powerhouse Units are lackluster. Man I really like Rob Lucci from design and character but fuck this Unit.

I put way too much faith into the skill up and burnt through all the story units I was holding, because there's no way I was ever going spend the next month with ~10 box space, it's been bad enough the past week.

Only maxed Dr. Indigo and Shovel dude after all that, regret is definitely there but once Inthawk books hit I'll appreciate having that space back.

Hello, I am a new player and I am trying to play Japanese version of Treasure Cruise on IOS. But the "Connecting" and "Downloading" part of the start is taking extreme long. I used a laptop using same Wifi and still got 2MB speed.
Is there anything which is able to fix that problem? It has been an hour and the download is still only 13%.

Well, for a WB owner Young WB loses some of his value, but Shanks is a 2x orb booster for Free Spirit/Cerebral and makes RCV/TND orbs into matching orbs, and is no slouch as a captain too. Invasion Shanks is definitely better than Legend Shanks, a F2P unit that is going to be used in Freedom teams 100% of the time, and on Cerebral if you don't have Doffy. Meanwhile Legend Shanks is incredibly situational.

the longer the game is out the more old-school, low socket teams like pure Slashers go out of fashion, in favor of teams with shitton of sockets like Driven or Shooter

if you desparately need lvl 5 autoheal, you'll most likely have a good enough team prepared that you have Bind/Despair maxed without Doffy, and CDR/AH is especially useful for Colosseum, since CDR is mostly negated in favor of Bind/Despair

on the other hand, if you are doing hard content where lvl 3 Bind/Despair really helps out, you want to have both instead of only Bind

Bind/Despair and CDR/AH allows for way more fexibility

It's purely a speed thing, I don't think there's a single piece of content in the game where you'd need CDR. I'd rather just go the safe route and make sure all my teams hit lvl 3 Bind/Despair and lvl 5 Autoheal before I worry about anything else, outside of a dream team of course where you know what you can and can't have.

Who do you pick to put CDR on vs Autoheal, who do you pick to not have Despair or Bind? It's just too uncertain on units with 1-3 sockets to be chucking a random CDR on one unit and AH on another unless you're building a dream team. You will ideally always need to his max Bind/Despair/Autoheal on any team you build (outside of %HP teams and niche other examples of course) and unless you're taking a full team of 4 socket units, which is doubtful, you're going to have a really hard time hitting level 1, let alone level 2 CDR without potentially missing out on the other important sockets.

I've gone through all this in my head months ago when I thought AH was trash and had Bind/Despair/CDR on all my units, until I started realising just how valuable AH and thankfully could fix those units before it got too out of hand. I'm not discrediting CDR as a socket but I really can't place it anything before 4th place in order of importance in any situation.

Hypothetically, if we had no stamina limit up and could access every fortnight, clash, etc at once, I think the game would still have loads of content. Yes it has a portion stemming from how many times you need to grind for it, but aren't many RPGs like that? Sockets and such are just another means instead of grinding for gold to get recovery items, levels based off just exp, or looking for the one equipment drop.

My cup runneth over with despair and CDR though, doing this I have lvl 3 matching orbs, lvl 3 bind, lvl 3 despair, lvl 5 autoheal, lvl 2 cooldown, and just as not to waste sockets, lvl 1 DR.
If we didn't have so many sockets, the lvl 3 orbs probably isn't worth it. I could swap out 2 of them for DR to get lvl 3 DR and lvl 2 orbs.

Powerhouse teams are tricky because there's no official dream team, and they use a lot of units that make great subs for other teams, so it's difficult to avoid an overdose of bind/despair.
Personally I'm one of those who don't rely on friend captain sockets, so I'd probably bank the 4 important sockets on Lucci, Sanji, Marco and Kuma, and the CDR I can't put on kuma goes to pica. So, exactly that build, but with bind instead of orbs on Sanji. So even the new players that just pulled Lucci can be used as friends and I'm still at full sockets.
