I have all the P-47s, and the N is worth the tally

It's the penultimate P-47, inferior only to the M. It has a slightly worse climb rate ans acceleration, which means you will still be able to out climb anything but Griffon Spits, and side climbing fixes that as well. The M also has weak air brakes which the N does not, but the N is slightly more maneuverable and has a decent roll rate.The latest patch has also slightly buffed US fiddys, so you have that as well.

All this is as spaded, but stock it is still better than the D28, which works well even at BR 5. If you play tanks, this is an excellent CAS aircraft as well.

While it's true that it's been a fair bit since I spaded my P-47N, I never had any problems with it (aside from the stock grind, which is a given).
I'm not particularly knowledgeable with the P-47N, but I think it generally feels like a lighter P-47D and should be treated as such, unlike the P-47M which feels more like a P-47D on steroids. At least such is my impression on those two planes.

If you're decent, you can bang out the 3 tasks in an hour or two. Stage 5 was a pain though, only saving grace is the 2 task requirement instead of 3.

Purpose of HE filler was not to kill crewmen but to increase structural damage when hitting mechanical parts, like engine, since unlike WT engine did not have single HP, but many parts, and you wanted to destroy ones it could not work without.
