I was pretty sure I calculated the necessary Luck on the Alien correctly, but alas. Guess it's time to slap the Panda on her and hopefully quickly get the rest from Kinos or so.

Speaking of Kinos, the New Year's sale is now live. People formerly missing out can now get their hands on Mizell-O, Amina-O, Daiana-O, Bahl-O and other crap. Other than that, the White Candle should be the main prize for everyone, as it's the only companion other than the even more rare White Lamp that grants an artificial Healing Phase fully equal to regular 30% activation rate skills. Every other Healing companion (even the Whitewyrm Wand) sucks for getting skillboosts.

I tried SV early on but was never really into it. I kept logging in every so often when they'd give away packs, and later the daily rewards, because just opening packs was alright. So I've got this account that I've never done anything with besides play some of the story missions to try out each class; I've never even linked an account to it.

Is there any way for me to give this account away that doesn't involve knowing someone's Facebook name and password or whatever? It's got animated Moon, some extra stuff to dust like 4 Gabriels and all the RoB leaders. I'd imagine /svg/ is probably the better place to ask, but maybe someone here was curious about starting it so I figured I'd ask before dumping it there.

You could try to do the story maybe but you're likely out of luck as your crystals are supposed to build over time with events, promos and stuff.

The fastest way would be to set up a Nox macro that does the reroll process and rolls the NY gacha for you because the other alternatives will likely take a bit of your time. Or manually do it yourself but it might hurt depending on your luck and speed at clearing the tutorial.

Is twilight Miyaka the rainbow leader? Also, why does the ticket screen not let you check their skills?

Yes, Twilight Miyaka is the rainbow leader and no idea. Usually long press makes it show skills but it doesn't work there.

The only difference is duration of the haste buff. The trap buffs for 3 entire turn of the buffed child (3 full circles) while the loli buffs for exactly 22 seconds. In other words, they are about the same since you will be spamming the buff skill. In fact the loli is the better haster at higher +1's because she scales better. The reason why the loli is ranked lower is because the trap's drive skill does dmg+heal+confusion, unlike the loli.

When old characters get their buff after being about a year-old, they can be better or more useful than some current stuff. Most wiki will have these characters on rankings and it's why you see Summer Kasumi, rider Tetra, or the various Excellia a lot in co-op.

Otherwise cute is fine, that's what I did. Just be wary of the desire sensor, because if you include one you don't feel strongly about, you'll get that one. But by wanting all 10 of your characters, getting only one is disappointing.

So I looked at all the companions. Most of them seem useful.
Mizell, Lacuma and Amina for their Ward/Disarm.
Bahl and Grace are somewhat lackluster as an O. You can give them better stuff.
Amerpact seems best for grinding Metal Zones. Apart from that it doesn't seem to be that good to me.
Daianas dragon is also a bit disappointing. Give her a Bewitching Bow instead.

Only memorial swords and 4* weapons from gacha can be used to exchange.
So get ready to waste those jewels on weapon gacha. I managed to get 8 weapons from 50 rolls last time I did it, but didn't get anything for the first half of those rolls. Nothing I needed either and 4 of them were dupes somehow.

On the bright side, sounds like you can grind islands until you unlock weapon synthesis to fund jewels to burn on weapon gacha. Just don't do 10-rolls, they're always disappointing.

Shame about Grace instead of Bahl, Gaiga still being a useless pedophile, Samatha and Jennish sharing the same element and no particularly noteworthy A/B/S roll - but Sam & Thundergod Einstein are a fucking great start to build on. Would keep.

Early game just move forward in the story so that you can unlock better Hunting and Metal Zones. Getting your dudes to L35 early on so that they unlock their first three skills and getting job materials for further jobs should be priority. It helps that Samatha can skip her second job almost entirely and Jennish -like any SS mage- only needs to level his first to jobs to L15 and L35 respectively to function well. Other than that, your best bet would do some more single rolls or invest some dosh to get some more noteworthy and futureproof party members.

Top: Bahl, Snaip, Macuri (aka the "Trinity" for their gamebreaking "Atk x 1.5" skills)

For the most part you want units that are both somewhat futureproof and aren't entirely shit before reaching L65/65/65.

Aside from the fact that the occasional MKZ7 on the map should be considered for now only 20 stamina, you're bound to burn tickets later on. If you don't own Bonna^, Metal Zones are also considerably less fun, so aim for her once you get the chance. Ideal way to run MZ7 would then typically be Z-Mage + Bonna^ + Levi^ + Trainee, to minimize exp-loss. Obvious bonus points for owning PDZ.

I always considered Dragon a highly desirable replacement replacement for Levi^, but after actually running both, it ends up being a really noteworthy difference if Icebind activates first or last for a unit. Anyone using Dragon will always freeze Mirrors last, but when Leviathan freezes them, all of her additional skills will be able to hit it afterwards.

Obviously mileages will vary and Dragon might be available to some way before Leviathan^.

This never happens though. The game will, without fail, proc every skill of a unit in order they are set, top down. Which for Leviathan means that Ice Ring will always fail before binding, then she will Icebind and only after that Maelstrom and her 4 other skills will activate and already be able to damage the Mirror that turn. Naturally, this also takes into account turn order: If she's only chained, the pincer units will waste their skills before Icebind can proc - and within a pincer she needs to be set left (left-right pincer) or bottom (top-down pincer) when working with a capable unit, so that Icebind and her skills fire first. The last point is not that much of an issue if pincers are mostly set with Trainee+Levi.

Of course, all this matters more the less units you use. If you only run Zmage/Bonna^/Levi or even just Bonna^/Levi, skill order is highly more important for floor clears than if you bring a party of 5 or 6. On that note it depends on personal preference how many Trainees you bring at once. Just looking at the numbers, your net loss is indeed a little lower if you train more than one unit, but it's barely mentionable and will lead to -only seemingly- slower progress on all of them.

Standard setup for MZ is typically a Bewitching Bow on your mage, yes. Sorcerer's Shield as an alternative for bigger damage on turn 1 or if you don't chain him/her every turn (which you should anyway, it's a MZ). Schweiz Bow probably takes the crown now with innate +30 Magic and the +15% buffs. I don't even want to play a mobage that's generous and has great art and music anymore. I figured I'd stick with DC a little longer but I just see no goal in it for me. All there is is building a better team but that's just rolling the gacha and letting the game literally play itself for thousands of stamina worth of runs. I want some mobage where I can actually get better at the game on a mechanical level instead of just getting better characters or grinding mindlessly. Why isn't there more of that? PAD was the first mobage I played and it had a very large element of skill. I also recently started playing im@s starlight stage and it's a lot of fun to see yourself improve as you move up in the difficulty tiers.

From what I've played around with Yuri, that seems to be the case. The friendship passive is hella esports with -1 combo skill activation and +Atk%. The actual skill itself increases the poison effect the higher the combo. At 31+ from what I've calculated the poison does 10% HP / second but only gets applied for 1 tick.

Starlight stage progression had nothing to do with the gacha though. All the gacha gives is basically eye candy and story bits. The real progression comes from moving up from regular to master+ and going for Full Combos. None of that is tied to units or grinding or gacha and it all it comes down to your skill. Even once you've done that they crank out new songs almost every week so there always something new to play and FC.

Should I be waiting for weapon gachas or should I craft a weapon in batoga? I pulled Christmas group Sadone but don't have any good guns. I've pretty much been carried by the transforming Halloween hammer I pulled but I wish I had more options.

Get carried a bit and you can get some coop boss cores from the coop event rewards and craft the new coop gun. Otherwise, yeah wait for a weapon gacha.

Just Sadone's skill by itself should be able to carry you plenty for a long time so don't be bothered about getting a high end gun just yet. If you roll a weapon gacha, wait for one with a bunch of good weapons instead of just a decent gun.

What's generally considered most useful on weapons is damage up, combo damage up, auto reload, leech, and skill combo reduction.

Also consider saving 3 dupe crystals to trade in for Doll Sadone for an auto-reloader if you don't have one already. Auto Reload is more important for your QoL and DPS than a good gun.

Also think about the reason you play the game, cute girls and outfits or actually esporting the game. While you probably wouldn't even be playing if you completely disliked the gameplay, remember what your ultimate focus is. Consider upcoming events and holidays(plus birthdays), then weigh what you might need to save gems for in the near future.

While good weapons are nice, they can wait a while.

Are you using her properly? Both Rain and Ruka have their skills change based on using it plain or charging before use, and Ruka might have some additional buff for herself while having the mage charged ring up.

If her damage output isn't what you want then you needed Rain instead since Ruka is the support Ruushe used to be.

What a pity. Missed the mark by about 45k HP and the game even taunted me with an extra turn where Sayu and Schweiz survived and could pincer, but the PP was out of reach in Twister hell...

While it seems WAY easier in execution than the triple pincer "MUST have this top tier Z team" strategy, it feels like there's still a little piece missing to reliably run the physical route. Macuri^ would probably help. Running Holy Dragon instead of Mog on Sayu might be another thing to consider, if it outperforms Mog on a 3-tap double pincer and makes enough of a difference.

The 5* tickets for the evo event come out after this maintenance tomorrow right?

For ranking events how important is time? I can do 93 but I got a worse score then on my run on 90. I had a higher chain on 93 as well so I think my score is just being shit on because I'm too slow?

My fire pool is stupidly limited too, I have 10 chain girl painter as my other 5* and 2 4*s so I think this is the best I could field woth my cost. Used a friend bunny rabbit girl since her active carried my retarded ass hard.
