Anyone here also has/had the problem of VNR not fucking up for no reason? All of a sudden it takes forever to load and makes the games lag like hell and then it doesn't even translate anything. It just "translates" japanese text to japanese with a different font.
I already redownloaded and looked though the options but i can't remember changing anything that might have caused this.

If one of you also had that problem, how did you fix it if at all?

It's my personal experience that LEC interacts the best with the Shared Dictionary (of which I make heavy use) between the two, and the offline versions of those MTLs are the only MTLs I've actually extensively tested. I guess people in /hgg2d/ recommend Google, so I'll eventually give that one a shot too.

While I personally use VNR as a crutch for my weak kanji and vocabulary (文法のほうがすごく上手だけど), I don't see why other people can't use it to learn. My problem with learning is that I can hardly commit knowledge to memory without a conscious effort, but I'm sure other people with normal learning capabilities can much more efficiently pick things up as they go along.

In fact, I've actually used VNR and hentai games to teach 2 friends Japanese thus far, and they've already memorized most of the grammar at this point and hardly need to come to me for translation help (in the beginning, they'd mostly just get stuck on Tokyo dialect).

By the way, speaking of Bishop, shame they don't do more of what they do in Ura kyoushi and this game. It's nice once in a while to see a cum inflation tag for a game even if it isnt realistic or anything. (MC pretty much causes cum inflation on the women every scene, Ura Kyoushi's system was better though even if you did have to sort of manage your meter and "save up" for a while though.)

It allows you to set predefined terms or phrases for things which I personally use to correct things that LEC gets wrong. It also has other features like changing the game text before it hits the MTL (Machine TransLator) which I use to change names to katakana (1st entry) after which I then set to translate from katakana to romaji (2nd entry). The reason I do that is so that the TTS (text-to-speech) always pronounces the names properly for me.

Basically there's a lot you can do with it. You can even set negation entries (leaving the translation blank) to remove certain consistent patterns from the text or change them (like if the hook places everything in one string and does the name twice).

Just got the berserk forms myself here, to get them you need to have all ruin points, have done all the corruption events and not have missed any of those optional fights in invidual chapters and then after the first stage of ch7 you get to choice to turn them into berserk forms.

Thats one of the reasons, if you skip any of those optional fights before ch5 you get the abnormal version of chapter5 where you fight the berserk form of that chapter character and are unable to get her for that run.

CM3D2 pastebin says to use HF Patch for stuff. But from what I've read it's outdated and no longer works with the game for over a month.

Reading HF threads on how to add the separate patches manually and most of them list having the Unified Translation Loader installed as a requirement. Which is to my understanding the same thing as the HF Patch.

Mega links also don't seem to have the old upates that still work with the patch either.

I kept all my stuff updated with CM3D2, and just last night I installed the christmas events and 2016 Denkigai stuff. I updated the game to its current version, then installed the five newest DLCs. When I try to start the game, I get this error. My eyesight isn't so good, so I can't tell what some of the kanji looks like to search it.

What is the cause of this Celebrate error? I had an error like this a while back, but just slapping the update files in again fixed it. This wasn't the case this time. I already tried removing the files for the five newest DLCs, but that still did not fix it.
