I mostly do suppressing fire and strategically shoot at locations of possible enemy activity, like open doors and windows, it's rare for me to land a body shot in any mid range engagement.

I run Phase, it is fucking incredible with Tactikill. You can constantly reposition and get the drop (sometimes literally) on people.

Don't use grapple mid-fight unless it's to slingshot for an escape. You get a really predictable arc that any shitter with a hitscan can abuse. You want to use it to gain the height advantage and maintain that through proper wall running.

I don't really use it with Stim, so I can't speak to that.

Think of it this way
Grapple - Mobility
Phase - Survivability
Stim - 50/50 Mobility/Survivability

Mobility itself can be seen as a brand of survivability, but you can't beat straight up invincibility when it come sto not dying
Try not to use Stim as a generic go fast button. Save it for when you're damaged and need to ollie out quick or if you're on the chase for a player already going fast

Mostly, i tend to stay away from the floor and go as high up as i can, and never stop moving much

When i spot someone, i grapple above them and wait for a chance to shoot them

If they spot me, i retreat if i can, and if not, try to zig zag towards them while wall running

Also, i sue Arc nades to stun them if im in a bad spot, usually works wonders

what weapon mods do you guys run with the hemlok? currently using fast reload and extra ammo, but i want to switch extra ammo out. not sure if i should switch out for threat optics, or faster ADS.

I've only recently started using the Hemlock, but I like the irons the best, and run Reload with Tactikill. Combined with Power Cell, I can get those Pulse Blades out regularly.

i use the same loadout minus iron sights for CTF playing defense. this loadout im making now is for general games. i like pulse blade but only in ctf or hardpoint, otherwise i use phase shift or sometimes stim. i feel like phase shift CD is short enough, and two charges as well, that i should use something besides tactikill.
probably gonna go with faster ADS. i dont know if its my imagination, but threat optics seems to zoom in a little further than regular iron sights or the other sights that you unlock early.

Am I the only one that's fine with Reapers?
They fill a very specific niche of "Equal to a Player in value but still an AI grunt."
Because otherwise it'd have to be AI pilots or Titans and that'd cause even more issues.

They do force a much more slow form of combat to take care of and if their numbers get big and group up then they are a hassle but I still think they're not too detrimental in the grand scheme.
Not to mention if a Titan decides to go pick on them during the spawnwave they can almost singlehandedly turn a match around is also an issue.

Now the fact that they block Titan movement and that their drops instakill Titans as well is a fucking problem I will admit.

Nuke Eject is a meme, run dual smoke and fuck Titans up while the cloud is up, when they retreat out of it, phase dash behind them to finish them off. Run dual Arc Wave as well, tons of damage and drops Tone shields in one hit.

What's the deal with credits? I earn some during matches and while leveling up. Do I ever stop earning credits for leveling up, like after I regen? I just want to know so I won't waste a finite resource on something dumb.

Hitscan weapons are instant. No travel time whatsoever. You click on someone from across the map or rightnext to you and they take damage at the same time.

As far as I can tell all weapons are projectile some are just faster than others.

To be fair, all the weapons have 'tracers' like the Volt that would give off the false impression of being a projectile weapon. When I first started playing without looking at the excel sheet, I just assumed most of the hitscan weapons were actually projectile with ultra-fast and flat rounds.

This, I hate new rodeo mechanics compared to the last game, it's fucking shit to force the pilot off an animation finishes to that you're a glowing green/yellow target after getting a battery

that is abject bullshit, they forced the mechanic in the game to add a dynamic and didn't even balance it right

I can't get a handle on melee. It's a one-shot kill on pilots, but it's got this weird snapping/magnetic lock-on. You aim at someone and if they're in range at the time you initiate melee then you zoom towards them to hit them, even if they've backed away to be out of range. The problem is I have no idea what the range is. There's been tons of times where I've just barely been out of range, times where I've felt I was definitely out of range but my character dashed forward to finish the animation, and times where I've jumped backwards definitely out of range but gotten punched in the head anyway in mid-air because of how the melee works.

I get why they do it, because otherwise you'd never hit anyone because of how fast everyone's going, but god it's annoying and weird.

I love bouncing around at high-speed with health-regen and headshotting people with an auto-shotgun. When shit hits the fan I pop the smoke and bounce away.
