Yes, it's based on your base damage. If you have a weapon that does 100 damage and you plop a 15% cold mod on there, you gain an additional 15 cold damage.
If you then throw in a base damage mod that gives +100% damage, you'll go from 100 to 200 base damage and your cold damage will increase accordingly.

IDK, I remember playing around with Hollow Point on WF Builder a while back and can't remember it being worthwhile. I tried it in game and wasn't getting crits often enough to make up for the loss in base damage. Primed mods might have changed that but I'd rather Sharpened Bullets without Peacemaker and Primed Heated with it.

I'm not overly fussed with on-paper DPS though. If a build works for you that's the most important thing.

Status and damage are two different things.

-Status chance is a flat figure per shot.
-It indicates how likely you are to get a status effect.
-Which status will be applied depends on how much damage of each type is done.
-Physical damage types are weighted three times higher than Elemental for status chance
-If a weapon does 500 Slash damage and 500 Fire damage (just as a hypothetical) then you have a 75% chance to get a Slash proc and a 25% chance to set them on fire.
-Some status effects are more valuable than others.

It's a bit of a complex subject but those are the highlights.

Magnum force is a waste, your ideal build will be the three essential damage/multishot mods, two Primed crit mods, two elements for a combo, and then Primed heated charge. You could throw in one 60% element/status in the combo for fun, PM has fuckhigh status chance, but that's all slots accounted for. More fire rate would benefit peacemaker more than +60% base damage anyway.

Yes.

Blaze is awesome, it adds to the total damage of your weapon like Point Blank and increases Fire damage.

Seeking Fury gives your shotties punch-through and lowers their reload times.

Shred gives punch-through and RoF which is useful on a lot of rifles, especially the full-auto ones.

Drifting Contact basically combines Body Count with a status boost and is available all the time.

Other ones are a bit more situational (eg Vigour on a Chroma providing the perfect shield numbers and boosting HP all in one mod) but those are must-haves even if you don't use them on every build.

Cast a new one every 4 seconds and you're invincible forever.

Max health is 1million HP. Optimized is 70K per cast IIRC, my mem's foggy, and a regular frost should hit 10K HP per cast.


Whenever you notice someone is shit, or the team's shit, extract at C rot. It's faster to run two 20-waves than one 40-wave with a higher chance of failure because someone's been playing in the shallow end of the gene pool.

She's a very good AOE DPS/Debuffer. If you have the patience, you can farm for her base form, but it is pure cancer to get her as she is locked behind forced play of shit content. Her Prime looks nicer in my opinion, has one of the highest energy pools in the game, and is somewhat the same to farm as her base form, but you can pub with other players to get her parts, and it doesn't force you to fight a bullshit boss, with bullshit mechanics to even reach her.

You can deal good damage, halve the health of all enemies, and melt through basically everything. Bring an AOE weapon that can pop spores like the Ignis, Pox, Mutalist Cernos etc, to maximise spore damage and spread

The problem is this:

Viral procc'ing is the EASIEST way of playing Saryn. It's easy to conceptually understand and easy to build. It requires no forma on your weapons. Any retard can do it and feel like they're being useful (Protip: they're not).

On the other hand, gas/toxin damage interactions with Spores is more difficult. It requires an understanding of more complex Spore mechanics beyond "spread as much aids as possible." It also requires heavy forma investment on both Saryn (2+) and her weapon (5+ Ignis). The tradeoff is that it's significantly more effective. Not only does it proc viral, it ALSO melts enemies.

Considering how rarely you get Lenses from Sorties, that when you do they're usually the wrong school, and that turboshitters in the Trade channel usually want 20p for a fucking Unairu basic lense let alone ones for a decent school?

Yeah. Buy them if you aren't getting anywhere with Sorties.


I would suggest putting a Greater Lense on a killing frame like Mesa to speed up the grind before adding it to weapons though. Your frame gets all the XP from power kills, half from weapon kills and IIRC half the affinity of a kill within XP share range so Warframes end up getting the most XP per mission.

OTOH if you put it on a weapon you can use it with multiple frames. Some people prefer that, I find it inefficient, do what works for you.

Banshee is pretty good if you've got a Quake build.

I used to be able to max my daily Focus in two runs to Rot C on old Draco with Banshee.

Harder to pull that shit now but she's still great for it.

You could try a Radial Javelin Excal, an Avalanching damage Frost or something too.

Some players like putting it on Loki and going ham with stealth kill chains in exterminates. I guess that's another option.

Secondly, every self res with defy revives you with lower HP every time, meaning Rage is less effective unless you heal OR you recast. Both choices cost more energy, and the latter leaves you with a vulnerability window that you can still die from. I am not even going to get into nullifier bubbles, that is too easy to jab at with.

Wukong is the best tank in the game because you don't run out of energy, you're slotting flow, rage and vitality and max duration. You're invulnerable to damage every time you die for a period just as you said, and the negative health amount is negated by recasting - you can use his three to deactivate 2 and use your game sense to float off somewhere and recast.

The situation you describe, being both out of health AND out of energy or somehow fucking your way into a nullifier bubble is disgustingly easy to avoid by not being an idiot. This isn't an excuse, but in this case it is extremely hard to fuck up wukong not being a tank.

Loki is decently survivable but he's vulnerable to stray bullets, explosives, toxic clouds, etc. and his augment is shit. Invisibility is great but not substitute for literal immortality. In any case this is kind of a moot point since I also consider Loki a much better frame than wukong

There is no stray bullets in solo content as Loki, nor Osprey clouds or Bombard explosives. Unless you REALLY fuck up. Or are doing Hive. The point being though, you can't say he's a great frame or good since in both situations where you might use Wukong there's much better options. But I'm glad you're not a complete lost cause
