So has anyone figured out the expedition mechanics yet?

I sent my characters on a mix of 12- 6 hour expeditions and they all came back with the same amount of shit they normally get with 1 hour.

Also, instead of bringing me the good shit like slowshrooms and guardshrooms, they brought me live scorpions, rats, snails, fishes, and lizards. Rocket shrooms and stamina shrooms. and a pretty neat looking Cerebus Shotgun E, but that's pretty much useless.

What the fuck is up with that? How am I supposed to progress past U10 and Coen if I don't get any of the good shit I need? are my rewards tied to my rank?

While I've mostly forgotten the recipes for Special Forces, what I do know is that I have them at 2* +4 despite never farming blue or green metals, and my 2* DIY gear sits at a measly +2 because they suddenly needed green metals halfway through the upgrade process.

As for resistances, anons here say resistances aren't as important as raw defense. Right now, I could wear my +2 DIY 144Def coat, or I could wear my +4 Special Forces 214Def vest. Pretty simple choice.

It's 00:00 GMT. People often get the time off by about an hour though because it doesn't actually shift over until you return to the Waiting Room after the rotation happens. But no seriously, the pieces are very much set, that's why for example the Mekaroku-go always has 3 bullet tubers on pipes next to an escalator leading to yuki.

I'm not entirely sure on the rule set. but it seems that each room has a pre-built segment leading to an escalator or a dead end, and a central room connecting them. Central room is randomly switched out between two or three pre-detemrined one, and the escalators are shuffled around in a circle.

As far as those wierd rooms like the three trap rooms to open the three trap gates that hold a treasure chest which has 57 KC in it. It seems the western market really is the playtester. Hell the game launched without the cash shop and a lot of us finished it before most shit was even added to the marketplace.

Once you reach the end of the game you unlock a few new high difficulty quests that say things like climb from F1 to F40 without using any decals, mushrooms, critters, weapons, or armor. and the reward is 1 Death Metal. 5* weapons have horrible durability and durability scaling. 5* armor usually increase defense by only 1 or 2 points compared to the 4* +4 armors they evolve from, and suffer from the same durability issues as the 5* weapons.

The list goes on.

So looking at it completely subjectively, we are more than likely just testing this for the Asian Market which the devs probably consider as the actual release of the game.

The AI in the game isn't too bad. I think they have specific rules tied to each moveset, like how enemies always counter a failed haymaker with a haymaker themselves or keep their distance from a charged pickaxe swing. They just need to add a rule for fighting against irons. They might not even have to code sidestepping, just have the enemies attack back when the initial iron hit whiffs instead of blocking to reduce steam damage.
