For dumping physical games, you have to use "Gamecart dumper options".
Also, you cannot get a ticket out of a gamecart. So, it's pointless anyway.

physical carts do not have titlekeys.
what you upload to 3ds.titlekeys are not the games but the decrypted certificate that entitles you to a digital download of that game from the official store.
in order to help out 3ds.titlekeys in adding new games you have to buy them.
if you want to share a physical game or install it on your device you dump the cart and then install the dumped cia with fbi or pass it along to someone.

Depends on the necessity of homebrew really. The more features the Switch lacks and the more potential its hardware has, the faster homebrew will develop.

Take a look at the 3ds, for example, and you'll see how the scene grew up to be this way:

I come from a O3DS XL. The size is amazing, but what really bugs me about it is the cracking sound when opening the screen, and that its glossy outside, scratches like hell.

I'd get a N3DS XL were it not that literally all of them right now are glossy on the outside. IF there was a matte black one I'd get it right away. I got the matte black N3DS regular size from black friday and it has me happy that the outside is matte, and the screen doesn't crack at all when opening, also that the resolution is the same but more dense. 386 means all 386 pokemon (all existing up to 3rd gen) becoming available ingame. So the remaining starters can be found elsewhere, legends too, and trade evolutions become level up evolutions or stone evolutions.

For example, in Blue it would be Blue 151, Crystal 251, Emerald 386, etc. The number just means everything in that games' pokedex being available.

I think all PS1/PSP games, also many games disable it during cutscenes.

Some Vita, games outright disable it, and some put an horrible watermark on top of the resulting image (e.g. Final Fantasy X puts some horrible "SQUARE ENIX ETC BLABLA) instead of just saving whatever was at the framebuffer into an image.

Perhaps you could make something that dumps the framebuffer (which will most likely be a raw image) and then convert it into JPEG or PNG, ignoring any flag that either prevents the function from being called or that pastes the image under another layer with the watermark.

Fasthax/waithax are just arm11 kernal exploits that will let you run dsiwarehax.

some advice: while waiting for shit to finish loading/downloading/installing, jump forward a page in the guide and start downloading any files you'll need in further steps. saved me a lot of time by having the torrents/files downloading while my 3ds was installing something.

one of the files is around 700mb, so keep that in mind before you reach that step and have to wait 15-20 minutes for the file to complete.

and as always, take your time and read shit 2-3 times. don't fuckin' rush. it'll be worth it once you finish setting this shit up and have your 3ds running flawless.

Lets say that in the future either console gets console banned. Now that a System Transfer was made, and both are technically the same thing (Transfer, then restore), will the friendcodeseed from either be able to rescue the other one?
