IL-2 has the same controls mapped in war thunder sim, that is to say prop pitch, throttle, radiators and mixture, and has no grind, better flight physics and no mouse aim. And that's a universal thing for them all since BoS has mouse aim that's useless for air combat.

You said you didn't want to play any of these other sims because you're either too lazy or have no interest, you only wish to play war thunder.

I haven't played that much of the Leo senpai but from the number of seal clubbing fests that I've seen from IT-1s and ZSU's basically make tier V fairly shit unless you're the russians.

If I were you senpai I would talisman the Pather II (it's probably the best tank Germany has) grind out what you like for the novelty and the move to another nation.

Tier V battles simply aren't worth it.

The only reason Germans are loosing so many matches is because players doing Plane Task come to play Germany because its easy to ground pound and club Yaks and IL-2s to get the score and kill tasks. Add to it that for completing 10 Tasks you'll get a German Top Tier Jet then you have an influx of primarily German Air Players filling up the Ground RB Queue to get the Jet. This all means that Germans never have more than 6-8 Tanks at times, where the Russians not wanting to get clubbed by Bf 109s they don't usually bring Planes. So you have Ground Battles with 16 vs 6-8 which doesn't matter what Nation you are its a hard match to win if you're the one with less Players.

Unless Gaijin changes how the tasks are completed and makes it so you can only complete Air Tasks on Air Battles and Tank Tasks on Ground Battles, this won't change.

There is no Russian Bias this Event, no trickery by Gaijin to make Russians win more. Only the stupidity of the German Playerbase because they want to get another Wunderwaffe to add to their collection.

on a sidenote this is my personal opinion but i dont think sparks are an issue in 90% of situations
even with 300 ping i can reliably hit in proper deflection shots
its just the situations where i only have 0.3 seconds to connect where ping and sparks make things annoying

This becomes more noticeable the close you are to the enemy plane.
Sparks happening is 50% "balance" where bullets/cannons do not do the realistic amount of damage they should be doing and 50% how your connection is.

Every once in a while the incompetent slavs break something and sparks happen even more often than usual because the gun itself is underperforming.

Well, yesterday was Mozdok which was an open terrain map for the most part. The amount of ducks that could rip apart T-34s to shreds more than made up for the lack of German Panzers at times. So it was dare I say fairly balanced.
