I am going to make a great analogy here, by comparing the way how lunalights play compared to other decks.

Imagine this NTR story

The couple lived and sleeped happily, and then a good friend, Utopia the Lightning, that while he sometimes fights with them, he is a loyal friend and brings them a present, a tretoad statue, representing that fun time when you summoned him and leo to defeat paleotoads without losing any duel in the match.
But it was a dark and rainy day and the lightning stayed home sleeping on a visitors room, and while the duelist and Leo were having sex, it was like every night and they fuck like they duel, only one orgasm (special summon and they end it there.
The Duelist proceeds to go to the bathroom, Leo Dancer while she didn't expected him to end fast, she was actually satisfied but the duelist tought he performed bad when he went to the bathroom, he saw himself in the mirror and said "damn i goofed it, i should've lasted more". If I open Neptune then I can forego the entire feral imp play and just tribute Nightingale for it. Its high level still puts its atk outside of lightning range, so I was considering maybe even adding a second Neptune to increase the chances of opening it and not having to make a rank 4 and possibly waste the normal summon. I'm still also trying to cut down the deck to 40 cards. I might even consider double summon at this rate.

There's so many combos you can do with this it's amazing. I remember I had one game where I activated darkvyrm, placed gate zero, then PS'd out another darkvyrm which searched out gate infinity, blew up the scale darkvyrm with triangle to get out a rat, then made king of the feral imps to search neptune and then blew up both gates for instant fusion. I added gaia charger in the extra deck since it can be used as fodder for Neptune and a target for gate infinity as well as providing piercing if you need to push for damage. I just realized that gaia drake is not a dragon so I'll probably swap that out for something as well. Heart-earth dragon is also an option since you can use Neptune as a mini lionheart with it.

Still experimenting but for the most part it hasn't really changed. Maxx C is worthless in this deck and it gets some good draw power off Nikitama as it is. Dont you want more spirits so you can tribute from the grave? Ideally using my build you would max out both rituals and have your twin twisters in there, maybe instead of powerspot, but not sure if that's better or what else to really change. Kaijus do work well but I'd rather not use them.
