I just use him with aggro. Pop dudes with Necros and Conversions while hitting face, drawing cards, and wrecking their board. They HAVE to kill him too or they just die. You put him alongside shit that needs to be killed to create a pincer situation, or put him with things you can dispose of via trades, cards, etc. Even with just two buffs you can evolve him for a 5/5 that can keep getting bigger or get destroyed while letting your other dudes keep hitting face.

A playset of 3 is not 100% nececary unless you are playing Forest/new Dragon.
Usually most decks don't run more than 6 legendaries (unless you are midrange Sword in which your deck might as well be made up out of golds and legendaries).
Generally you get a leggo per 10 packs in here, and their power levels are much mroe consistent (most factions have 2 bad ones and 2 good ones in DE's meta)

Just because its tier 2 doesnt mean you couldnt run in on ladder, sure it was a nice deck, but Tier 1 is reserved for the best in both consistency and power.

Also, in the past weeks it only won consistently by preying on shadow and blood, which are hardly the big concern, then or now.

Of course we dont know where the new control blood stands in the PtP matchup, but i cant imagine that blood got weaker, since they received more options than PtP did.

Thus PtP is even worse off in this meta than the previous. A solid tier 2 at best.

If you can make a solid rational refutation of above points, with a source or some statistics on the subject or strong logic, i would be glad to review it.

I haven't tried any grindy match ups against it yet. I've only been playing aggro because it's early and I don't want to craft cards for control that might not be relevant in the meta. So far Aggro Sword, Aggro Shadow and Bats all pick it apart extremely easily. It just seems so slow, and it trades poorly. My worst game was one where they pulled a lot of early removal but I just ended up bursting them after they dropped Daria because the game went late.
