I'm not going to go too in-depth because I don't feel like writing a bunch of shit:

Assuming a 6 character name:
Using WPE, create a character with a 6 char name. Record the packets while doing so. I'd advise you pick a distinguishable skin color so you can easily pick it next time.

With a 6 character name, bit 17 will be the one with the player skin. Most races only have 5-10 options so it'll be in the 00-09 range. Now modify Filter 1 to search offset 17 for the player skin "code" you just saw, and replace it with one of the ones on the image. Check the filter on.
Create a new character, enable the filter. Again, 6 character name. Assuming you did it right, you'll have a hidden skin.

What's basically going on is WPE is intercepting the packet for your character creation options, and modifying it to an option the GUI doesn't allow. The legwork you do is just figuring out which bit in the packet you have to match and modify.

In my example I suggested a 6 char name, so it would be offset 17 in WPE. Just adjust the offset for whatever length you end up using.

I played paladin in tbc but never went past kara, and was ret - i was mainly an arenafag and didn't get more into raiding until wrath.
How tough is healing raids as a paladin in vanilla? I know I want to play paladin, don't mind being "stuck" healing, just curious how it works. So far as I can tell, it's spamming single target heals and keeping blessings up for the most part. Most guides make it sound easy but since I don't have the experience, it's tough for me to judge.

I can follow pre-bis lists, consumables, enchants, etc, more curious how the actual mechanics operate if anyone wouldn't mind offering a few words.

It's the easiest of the healers honestly.
Apart from keeping blessings up what you'll be doing is spamming flash of light for the most part. Don't mindlessly spam rank 1, spam the rank appropriate to the damage being taken.
You'll also be cleansing poison/disease/magic debuffs with your decursive key (make sure to customize decursive prio settings before each boss).
If your raid allows there's also applying judgement of light/wisdom to the boss. You might also be asked to bubble pull bosses so your tanks have an easier time picking up their targets.

Imo the real skill is in using your blessing of freedom/protection to help/save your raid.

Old Nost and Kronos each had their own advantages and issues and but they were pretty damn close in quality.
If Kronos wasn't up to your standards but Nost was then you're probably just a nost shill or something.

Though their hardware upgrade/DDoS thing that lasted like a month was seriously a shitfest

There originally wasn't a big chink problem on nost but as time went on it grew. My guess is that the admins realized it would be a scummy move to mass ban a country after they first admitted them to the server. The Elysium devs took up the same principles to appease their Nost staff.

It's not a legitimate reason because the 60s are stuck on T1 for a long long time already with more guilds sprouting up all the time for beginning content. Majority of players not wanting to "catch up" also don't even play to 60 anyway but still hop on the next pserver so they can pretend to be a part of it :^)
