That's the thing. The pristine server idea requires you to essentially make 2 expansions because in recent expansion history new gameplay mechanics have been tied into new content completion.

If they introduced pristine servers and set abiout introducing that instead of a new expansion after Legion it might work. But the average player wants NEW NEW NEW.

However, with the rise of things like Dark Souls they might be willing to look to a market that wants to be able to "brag" if anything else, so maybe there's still a chance.

Actually, Westfall isn't an awful questing area, to be fair. Swapping between that and Loch Modan can get you through the teen levels easily (if not as fast as Darkshore), and there are plenty of kill quests and other things easy enough to do on a crowded server. On top of that, Deadmines is a really fun dungeon to run through.

I'd try to get to at least ~L12 before going to Westfall though.

1. Never buy gold or use cheating or botting software! That includes things that change textures or models (MPQ mods)!
