It was about to be my favorite mod ever when I noticed there were no trees in LOD range and some meshes were swapped for no reason. It swapped out the fallen tree in the wilderness on the way to Ivarstead with just the tree trunk, making a bandit stuck on the roots of a floating yet fallen tree.

I'm wondering who I'd have to pay to get this mod finished.

I have been living incognito in Solitude and doing vampire things. Its pretty fun since the Winking Skeever is connected to both the sewers and the local lair, so its like there's an undercity beneath solitude that Yvenn lives in while the mortals go about their business aboveground. And don't get me started on the Skyrim Underground mod I also installed. Apparently there will be a friendly town down there soon and I'm hyped for that. If anyone has read Simon R. Green's Nightside series you'll get the idea of what I'm imagining. Granted it probably won't live up to that but I can pretend.

Tried to steal a horse from Whiterun and flee to Solitude. Poor sense of direction caused her to get lost in the plains and end up back in Whiterun instead, where she spent the night in jail. Focusing on punishment isn't a very productive solution.
Sure it might make some feel better to be vindicated, but the positive effects are temporary and don't allow for growth or redemption, or just making the person less shit in the future.
In the long run it would just enable shitposters who either don't care about their id enough that they'll risk tarnishing themselfs, or like certain posters who just dynamically get ids.

I probably should, yeah. But as for naming people; I tend to follow the Robert Jordan style of storytelling. He had 2782 characters with their own distinct personalities, all linked together in a complex web of relationships. While I have considerably less characters, I have the same habit of giving seemingly unimportant individuals a name and brief description. Geon, for example, was meant to be a footnote in Gastane's biography, but I ended up making him his own unique character. Speaking of, I should probably expand Geon/Yvenn's bio to list the other knightly companions that followed Geon around.

Don't have a screens since I'm on mobile, but I've started up an Imperial Inquisitor type character who's mission is to wipe out all the shamans, witches, "bad" Deadra worshipers, necromancers, etc. in Skyrim. I havent decided his motivation though. Aside from being a Vigilant, I don't know who'd send him on such a quest, or if I should even have an organization behind him at all. Maybe he's crazy and believes Akatosh himself spoke to him and gave him this mission, maybe he's a Dredd type who unyeildingly believes in the Law? I'm having trouble finding his sweet spot. I'm also planning on doing a huge, muscly Nord paladin who's always smiling, and who thinks spreading joy and helping those less fourtunate is his number one priority. He spends more time doing good works and charity than he does smiting, but boy when he smites, he smites hard. He also keeps the faith with Talos, but keeps it on the DL like everyone else. He was a soldier before picking up the holy mantle.

Lastly, and this is my oldest character, is a Breton mage who just doesn't get that there are moral boundaries to magic. To her, all ethics and morals fall away in the pursuit of knowledge. She isn't malevolent, or even nefarious, but she does whatever she can to seek out new and powerful magic. This includes necromancy and other dark arts of course. Its why she's in Skyrim in the first place. Mage culture or no, it's frowned upon for a noble lady to raise her venerated grandfather from the family mausoleum.

Mod Organizer only sort of supports Oblivion so you have to run in circles to do certain things. OBSE and its plugins have to be installed manually to the data folder or they won't be seen by the program at launch (you still have to run the launcher through MO.) There's also a lot of content for Oblivion that's only packed in omod format, which isn't supported by Mod Organizer. This means you have to run Oblivion Mod Organizer through MO to output the mod to your overwrite folder after running the wizard. That's not too bad, but if the wizard changes any ini settings then removing it is a chore, and OBMM will crash every time you try to close it from then on out (at least on windows 7.)

It works, it's just a hacky mess and I'm not sure it's worth having profiles over just using a combination of Wrye Bash and OBMM.

The term of "can't see the forest from the trees" implies that you can't see the rest of the forest because the leaves are blocking the view. My issue with ELWE is that the trees are too tall and the leaves actually aren't in the way. Making the trees bigger would exaggerate the problem.

As for the story itself, I have a few lil tidbits that you may want to consider regarding vampires:

1. They do not need to kill people to feed on them, necessarily (unless they're really hungry.)

2. They are 100% confirmed to be able to feed on animals if they so desire.

3. This is an important one. No matter how you act, if you kill people or not, or who you worship, if you die as a vampire you go to Molag Bal's rape dungeon to experience the most horrific torture possible for all eternity. As far as I know, there is no way to escape this short of being cured, all though my own character prays to Azura and hopes she might claim his soul instead (He has no idea if it will work, and to be frank neither do I.) This knowledge may affect your character in some way.

Other than that it seems ok. I mean, its also perfectly possible that your vamp doesn't know you don't need to kill the mortals you feed on, or feed on mortals at all.

Rides-The-Lightning is an argonian "mage" that was exiled from Black Marsh due to his peculiar condition that allows his scales to absorb electric charges in the atmosphere and also release them, intentionally or not.

He doesn't have a tail because the members of his community cut it off due to the erroneous belief that it was acting like a lightning rod and cutting it off would "cure" him.

I think there's an Oblivion version of enboost, make sure you have it. Otherwise, figure out where you're bottlenecking and cut back on mods affecting that, Oblivion is old and doesn't optimize well. It never benefits from multicore processors for instance so it's very easy for AI to peg your CPU and tank your FPS.

Shit. I've been playing with sacrosanct and sort of trying to work the experience playing into the story, and the only way to advance blood magic is to drain humans which is feeding but it kills them, so I've just been doing that. I was thinking about how to work around the fact that he doesn't need to kill to feed but it might just be better to have draining being required to advance blood magic as a plot point. In Sacrosanct you can make a Potion of Embracing that can turn you into a vampire, which I thought would fit with his alchemy hobby but I'm not sure if that's possible in the lore or just a mod thing so I sort of skipped over it. If it's not lore-friendly, I'm sure he could have saved up for bodyguards to follow him into a vampire hideout and protect him after he's successfully contracted it.

As for the rape dungeon I think he knows that it happens when a vampire dies, but he's sort of in denial that it could ever happen to him. In his mind that kind of thing would only happen to the vampires who "deserve" it more and go out making trouble, the ones storming the gates of cities and burning down Vigilant bases and all that. He's not much better, he's still killing people of course, but I think subconsciously he might think he is.

Fannah isn't my character, Yarti made and have the saves for the twins. I don't think Yarti intends to make adult version of Fannah. The only reason Fanar has an adult version is cause that's what he played as on SE.
