Ok anon, I wish you luck but I can't let you go on like this. It takes 1000's of kills for people to farm a set of BLT offshapes from shotgun watcher, BLT gems from Isz Boss-Watchers probably have a 1/10,000 drop chance, if that. Then there's a 1/3 chance of it being rating 19 and either a 2/3-1/6 chance of being a useable curse depending on your standards. Then it's a 1-2% chance for an offshape. By all means farm those Watchers for the rest of your life, but 6000 kills later without a single BLT triangle, let alone a 32.6% radial, don't say we didn't warn you.

I think your difficulty to accept that Oedon may be MP comes from the storytelling. As people need to deduce some things with the elements given, it's hard to make some new links.
You know that Gehrman beckon the MP to transcend himself, and that Oedon is a formless god worshiped in some places in Yharnam, so you can't link the two because MP had a body.

You can still notice that the Oedon rune looks very closely to an amygdala head and that some amygdala are invisible for humans and stuck on some Yharnam buildings, you even know they can talk in your head.

In fact, Oedon is similar to amygdala, but it's hard to link to it because amygdalas look like clones, and there's no single entity behaving like their master which would be Oedon.

With all these elements, it's easy to think that the main great one of the game, the one linked to the moon, and to the city of Yharnam (if it was the great one used to breed the pthumerians), is the oldest deity in the city/world, and it's considered formless since none besides few hunters and pthumerians were able to beckon it.

In one case Mergo could be formless as it's closer to Oedon and the other, because of the different mother, Arianna's thing has a form. Genetically, it makes sense.

With a completed level 100 build I could probably destroy isz boss watchers in under a minute. Factoring in savescumming and I could probably farm 10+ times in 30 mins. Even on a busy day working 12+ hours (I'm a professional chef) I could easily fit this around working, other vidya and general adult shit. The Eldritch truth is mostly related to the chalices and to the great ones.

To make it simple, the great ones are powerful beings that can transcend space and time, and they can grant their powers to the humans.
But granting these powers is a very very nasty event.
To beckon a great one and be accepted as a surrogate, someone have to ingest a specific part of a previous surrogate breeding, the umbilical cord. It is assumed than the older the great one you want to see, the more you need surrogate parts.

Once you're a surrogate, you unlock the Eldritch truth, the fact of manipulating space and time at will, and creating other realities. As well as being probably linked to other great ones, into some gigantic ayy psychic internet. In the created realities, you can add you own rules (who will come, how, when leaving, for how long, enemy, ect...)

On the other side, humans can still access parts of the surrogate creation, by using biological materials.
With an old artifact, probably given by the great ones, they can mix biological parts and drink it so they would access alternate realities, called the old labyrinth. This type of realities were created mainly by the Pthumerians. The root chalices had the amazing power to directly create new realities from the existing ones, in exchange of some exceptional biological parts.

The same way, the hunters played with biological parts, to get closer to the Eldritch truth (not anyone can be surrogates).
They add aliens eyes into brains to improve their perception.
They expended brains using alien brains fluids.
They recreated a link with great ones by transforming blood into semen.
They injected alien blood into their bodies to improve their physical abilities.
They mixed humans bodies and make them alive thanks to the red moon rituals.

They said it during the whole game. The Eldritch Truth is a massive source of madness for humans.

This is my final BB build, and I've never made a bloodtinge build before, so I'll be collecting as much data as possible - Isz Watcher drop rates, pushing unconventional weapons like the rifle spear and reiter to their limits etc.

When completing my pizza cutter build I regularly got adept, arcane, elemental and poison gems from Isz Watchers (killed them about ~50 times). Assuming nourishing and bloodtinge gems are as rare to these as they are to physicals, and it should still be possible, if retarded as the other anon suggested

I usually combo blade of mercy with the threaded cane since the burial blade is too similar. Beasthunter Saif is the only weapon that can keep the close ranged pressure of the BoM with godly spacing control. Rakuyo is slower and more stamina heavy than the BoM but it has much more powerful and versatile combos.

There is really no reason to use the untricked version of the cane if you pair it up with the BoM, except maybe a little more range for stealth backstabs. But the tricked version with serrated bonus, ability to buff with papers, exceptional crowd control and boss weakspot hitting will come in handy when the BoM fails, in particular against bosses like bloodletting beast and loran darkbeast.

Saif is a little lower on damage than the BoM in a pure skill build, but maybe if you have 25+ strength it surpasses it, especially when buffed. Most people use it because of it's particular moveset that includes automatic front and backsteps during hits. You can emulate those with the BoM, including tricked L2 and it's fast attacks that allow you to dodge whenever, but the Saif does those while also automatically covering a wide range and with better stun.

I don't know how many secondary effects there are, but Flat Phys, Open Foes, Low HP, Full HP and durability are all pretty common. And each secondary effect has 3 strengths regardless of gem rating. Also secondary effects are different rarity's, so it's impossible to say the exact rarity.
