The Nerevarine noticed a difference, now, however.

Azura, the Queen of Dawn and Dusk, stood before him, her features revealing a warm smile. She spoke to him, telling him of how he had freed the island from the curses of the False God. Finally, she rewarded him, taking his hand and opening it, dropping within it a ring. Nerevar simply stood there, as if expecting something more, but Azura said no more, waiting for him to accept her reward for his duty. Eventually, Nerevar realised that this was all there was to give, and he calmly spoke.

Then Nerevar spoke again.

"A ring? Is this some kind of joke?"

Azura's eyebrows raised slightly, wondering why Nerevar was acting so bewildered all of a sudden. Surely he should be feeling relieved that this was finally over.

I plan to mod Skyrim in accordance with STEP 2.2.9.2 and the "Dovahkin Reborn", "Skyrim Gameplay rebalance", "survival", "companion Pack" and "deleveled loot" STEP packs.
This is the first time using STEP so I have a few questions.

STEP Core or Extended?
Extended seems like an improvement over everything but simply more tedious to install. Why choose one over the other?

Extra mods.
STEP and the packs above cover a lot but not enough. My list Lacks Quest mods, (Thirteen Oranges, Notice Boards, Ogmunds Tomb, moonpath, wyrmtooth, forgotten city, shadow of meresis)Transformation mods (MT,WM,BV,RB and Undeath), City beautifier (Expanded towns and cities, immersive college of winterhold), player homes and others.
Is there any way to add these without causing conflicts except for bashed patches and tes5edit?
What else would i need for a wholesome immersionfag experience?
Especially asking for expanded towns. Should I find a lightweight alternative?

When a dragon break occurs, how is it determined which of the new timelines is continued when the nonlinear time collapses back into linearity?

As far as I understand it, time goes from being a "line" to branching outwards in every direction, but eventually these branches return to a single "line" and things continue as usual. How does this collapse occur?

I'm done with Skyrim for the moment. I want to play another heavily moddered open world game. What is better, Fallout 3 or New Vegas? I usually played Skyrim as a hack and slash (stealth archers are cowardly!) I like having a decent story but I care about gameplay more.

If it helps, these are the mods I play with for Skyrim:

All level 1-10 Enemies have 50-60 HP
All level 10-20 Enemies have 80-120 HP
All level 20-30 Enemies have 140-200 HP

All level 40-50 Enemies have 320-420 HP
All level 50-60 Enemies have 440-560 HP

And so on and so on until level 100.

At the same time, your weapon damage works in a similar way.

Assuming player has level 1, weapons do:

Swords: 15 Damage
Axes: 20 Damage
Maces: 20 Damage
Daggers: 10 Damage
Twohanded Weapons: 30-40 Damage
Bows: 35 Damage

This way you could simply go and scale the whole fucking game through perks, spells, buffs and potions.

Right now, most enemies in skyrim have extremely different amounts of HP and because of that, some enemies literally die oneshot while the dude down the hall takes 15 swings.

Then it clicked, Haar remembered the yarn he had spun a few hours before and laughed so hard he began to cry. Snakestone, equally confused, joined in and they all laughed into the night until they couldn't remember what they were laughing about.

I've tried looking in the steam discussions, and I can't find any solutions for this. Hopefully some anon has some decent ideas?

In Morrowind, I can't get the Steam overlay to work. Shift+Tab does nothing. Yes, it's enabled in settings. No, I am not using any overhaul mod - or any other kind mod/script extender. It is a clean install with no mods or plugins at all. F12 does nothing, I can't pull up the overlay, I don't even get the on screen alert that I can when I launch the game, in full screen or windowed. I can accept broadcasts when I alt+tab to a chat window, but they don't actually work for the viewer and none of the typical on screen elements for broadcasts turn up for me.


Any idea what do

Is the steam version of Morrowind okay?

I know its missing the Mod Construction Set, but I wasn't sure if that was needed or replaced by a better fan program or not. The guide recommends plenty of mods, but not really much on how to install them unless I overlooked it.

The nexus seems to have a fix for it, but I do wonder if its worth bothering over a cracked copy.
