most bnb stuff is pretty much the same for everyone. character weight sort of affects high mist loops and follow ups, but mostly it is just having to delay the coin for lighter characters or having to add an extra jumping normal to get some heavier characters higher up.
The character specific stuff is more the followups of throw>coin combos, getting two coins and hard knockdown combos, dust loops in corner, stuff like that. A lot of the stuff you can get away with doing unoptimal bnbs that work on most characters but you usually sacrifice coins or damage.

You get get FM in orders of thousands as a one-time thing when you first clear "offline" modes (but you have to be online for it to give you fm) such as story mode, tutorials, challenges, surivval, watching demos, etc.
Playing against other players online gives 50 FM per match to the winner.
Also you level up your character and player account as you play, and each character and player level comes with some thousands FM.
You can buy characters, stages, costumes, colors, and some other stuff. Some of these (not characters) you can only get with real money.
Characters cost 100k, stages cost 40-70k, other stuff costs less.

You want to do the release of the charge from down to up as one movement. Cr.lp->rise from down to up, hitting st.lp as you hit the center, then the kick for sbk when you get to up.
The key is understanding the speed at which you release the charge. You don't have to snap straight from down to up, though you also can't take too much time.

if you dont have lk fireball charged you can't cancel into that and if you're too far away after your blockstring you can't cancel into charging a fireball because it's go a super short range and is extremely easily punished on a whiff

Should I buy a hitbox? Should I build one?
I have tiny hands and can comfortably use my laptop keyboard to play. I have problems executing things that should be simple, like 360 inputs. It should be just "roll your fingers across ASD and hit space", but I still can't do it consistently.

I can mash out dp into CA pretty easy etc. Stick does look like it'd feel nicer to play on though and especially the buttons but I'm worried that its gonna be much more difficult. You don't have to be exact with the holes, close enough is fine. For a project like that though get the screw in buttons, they give you much more wiggle room. Also new PCB's make DIY builds super easy since soldering doesn't exist anymore.

Ehhhhhh Qanba Drone I guess. You could even swap the parts for Sanwa and still be under $100 I think. There are also the Hori sticks if you don't mind Hori first party buttons and sticks, but those are over $100. Would a pad be better than it? Well it depends on what you want to play on. If you want to play on a stick then no, but if you want to play on a pad then yes.

No, they just stepped in and filled the niche I wanted after Hori in my opinion went to shit. Madcatz and Razer are options but I've always hated their stick designs even though they are functionally awesome (for the most part, I really hope MarkMan cleaned up the PCB for the Panthera). Qanba makes the most classic Hori-esque sticks so they are the sticks I like now.
