What the fuck is wrong with Jeff Kaplan? he literally hates widowmaker, he shitted on her foor 3 fucking events this year, he nerfed her to the ground and if that wasn't enough he shitted on her while on Blizzcon.

Seeing how hero stacking isn't a thing anymore, can we talk about Winston changes finally?

Considering Dva's buffs, Reinhardt always being the stock tank, Zarya's omni-useful abilities, and Roadhogs picking/antitank power, and the shifting of the meta and game over the last year, shouldn't we buff Winston in the face of all these changes? He hasn't been touched since launch and is slowly being chipped down lower and lower.

Right now he only has 3 possible rolls
1. Sacrificial healer picker
2. Genji/Sniper hard counters
3. KOTH contesting paperweight

But with this is mind, his kit needs to be buffed slightly in the face of Torb and Sym coming into the main line, Soldier being able to now rip his bubble apart in 1 clip, and Dva now outpacing him in mobile tank thanks to her massive buffs in DM and passive health/armor.

I would propose:
- barrier projector cool down starts after deployment

- Barrier health increased from 600 to 800

- Barrier lasts 6 seconds before depleting, with team visible numeric timer coming out of the center projector to convey how long teammates have left protected

- primal rage strikes and splash damage ignore armor damage resistance

- Tesla canon deals 60% extra damage vs. shields

- Activating Primal Rage will deal AOE knock back and 30 damage with 2 meters

Now his barrier will actually last long enough to matter and actually does live up to as his line says "this will protect us."
And now his ult isn't hard countered by armor and shields doesn't make him waste half a clip doing damage vs. Symmetra
