It's reasonable to think that any of those decks, especially DShift which is a meta answer in the first place, could just fall off because a completely unrelated deck becomes too common to warrant running one or because a similar deck shows up with performance that's not even necessarily better but becomes prominent.

Dshift could fall off if 51% of the meta gives it a bad enough time. Hell, Dshift could call off of 10% of the meta gave it a bad time but something else only had a bad time 5% of the time. The meta is a moving beast. It's possible the top tier won't change but evaluation founded strictly in what works now are worthless because the relevant information has no staying power.

In the first place, a deck doesn't have to have all even or even all decent match ups to be worthwhile on ladder or formatted. It just has to win enough, dshift may fuck Elana and PtP but that's never stopped them.

Without banner your drops lose 33%-50% of their strength and 6 of your cards lose storm. Not to mention you lose tons of tempo on turn 2 for no gain.
Not getting banner from maid leader often kills you right then and there.

Except that if we say mid-late game starts at turn 5 then you can't play it on the turn you pull it nor can you really play anything meaningful alongside the blader on the next turn. Banner is looking for kills on turns 5-7 and you're looking at having your turns 5-6 be dead in those sorts of situations. Dshift- too slow, you either need to establish board with fencer evolve #1-2 to force his removals or set up for a big damage push t6-7. T5 is 3 turns away from average Dshift combo turn, why spend it tutoring with an understatted body?
Forest- You're on a timer with PtP, tutoring will lose you the game. You lay a 3/4, he responds with a 4/4 body heal for 8 or WotF to clear what's left of your board.
-Mirror is one of the only decent uses for Blader, and only if you both get past the turn 4-7 sage pushes and are both trying to re-establish board.

Wind God is a win more card at best adding 4 damage burst
With bats you should expect to have no board by turn 5 and transition to burn damage, wind god is crap when you don't have a board, the fact that you had 4 bats up means haven was fucked anyway.

Going first is such bullshit in t2. If you don't draw cards that can trade well, you get fucked.

How is this game? Been wanting to try it out for awhile. I'm mostly curious about the progression, like how you get new cards and stuff. Does it feel good/bad?

I may have a misconception with how pricing works with the prebuilt decks.

I thought they were 750 crystals each deck, and the first purchase is 500 crystals.

But it may actually be 500 crystals for the first copy of each deck. So you can buy 1 of each deck for 500 crystals each.
