Yeah, the focus sight adds 12% damage/accuracy which greatly outweighs the 2 or 4% the demon slayer helm provides. With that being said, focus sight/slayer helm only works on slayer tasks.

Regarding weapons, what's your level and what other alternatives do you have? I'm *pretty sure* an elder shortbow offers the same damage but is a whole lot cheaper and if you are level 70+ ranged you can do Roving Elves for a free crystal bow
