Don't know about the other three, Depends on the other two Jackals, two might belong to them, but I think the sword jackal falls under sword and gun jackal falls under magnum so I'm thinking those aren't necessarily jackal weapons, but even if that explains the two, the fourth one is still a complete mystery. Possibly a premium/cashshop weapon.

Okay so has anyone else experienced weapons that actually drop from enemies just disappearing before you can pick them up?

If I'm popping a dragonshroom, it's so I don't waste time reloading during slowmungus. I don't care about the durability, seeing as I can do a single raid and get 40k. Money means absolutely nothing to me, and I stock up on weapons while I do other things around the house. I always make sure to have at least 5+ of my main weapons (pork chopper, kamas and rapier right now) in my storage. It takes up slots, but I always know I have them in case they're needed

At 22 you'll usually have the blueprints for multiple weapons that each need their own metal. When you first start farming the kawabe chest, every single metal you get from it is beneficial. It's only when you start getting stuff maxed out is when it gets annoying. I have 13 DOD black metals and 9 MILKs when my rapier is already maxed out and I just finally got the pork chopper blueprint. I still need a fuckton of candle wolf but at least I'm strong enough to easily farm 23F goto instead.

Always happen when I play a grinding game, autistically grind out levels that 99.9% of the player base never even come close to, finish the grind, play the rest remaining 10% of the game or so that I was putting off while I grinded and feel dead and empty inside once I trivially beat the rest of the game and wonder why I spend 10s of hours grinding out that massive advantage.

Whenever I see one, playing as a whatever class, I just go batshit crazy, running in the random directions, keeping my attention on the enemy's aim and hands movement, so I can predict where he shoots next. And when he makes the shot after a set period of time, I get close and knife him.

The thing I did upon reaching that point was upgrade something as much as I could, sneak around 31 and farm the open roof eating area for blueprints a few times (got the katana after a few) as well as any armour or weapons that pop out of the chests, as well as some guardshrooms/fun fungus, as WELL as sending expeditions to floor 31 whenever they appeared in the list. When you've got a full set of good armour and a good weapon from those chests or from the expeditions, equip it all, eat a grilled fun fungus, and presto; you can now compete.

It lets you handle bosses far earlier/faster than natural gear progression does. Then when you get ahead of the curve and haters start being dangerous, it helps you deal with those too.

The way defense works, if you go into a boss undergeared, your shit does close to no damage - but doubling your attack via stingshroom gets past that initial defense barrier and makes you do real damage, even with underpowered shit. Then there's stuff like transparungus/slowshrooms/guardshrooms that get around the need to have any defense.
