Beat Adamentoise at an 1 hour 30 minutes.

But near the end of the fight I got this super cool scripted attack event that doesn't really look like it's 100% finished. There was no audio during it.

Did any of you other guys that did this fight get this as well? I tried replicating it during the rest of the fight could couldn't seem to trigger it again.
I didn't start the recording fast enough to get the beginning part of the animation.

I did Apocalypse first, first try, right after maintenance, and then U+ first try aswell, both with Randos, both times they played well. U+ I had Ysh with Wall and he had a Tyro with Wall and BSB. No one brought Protectga and Shellga so the signalling was clear and yep, I did Turn 1 Wall and he did Turn 1 BSB and all was good.

This is incorrect.

You also want Dispel/Banishing Strike for his Protect at the end, and probably Curaise/Arise, and someone should be using Sentinel to eat the counters and Death Claws and cast down on the Esuna casts needed to clear Paralyze. Berserk is still around aswell, though.

Keeper's Tome, SS2, and Shout (& Hail of Stones) are really all I have from those that are "expected". Zidane has his BSB, but level 91; Luneth is lv. 99 but only has SSB. Lv. 99 Leon has his SSB & BSB - other characters have other things but levels (& sphere levels) just ain't there. Two medicas are Relm & Penelo, latter being conflicting with 50% ATK boosts. Porom might've helped with Twin Star over Tellah with Last Gasp, but she's too frail, especially with being lv. 70.

Apart from posting a list of every damn thing via ffrkcentral, that's all I can think of that's relevant. Tyro might be ok to bring, if only because he's nearly maxed out on his regular record sphere.

And actually, Wall isn't as strong as it could be in this fight, because Gilgamesh's Zantetsuken ignores DEF.

I am thinking of buying a PS4, mainly for this game.
From what reviews I read though it doesn't look like a game at all. Is it true that combat is just keeping a button pressed and Noctis will do everything by himself? That there aren't any tactical decisions to make, including when and who to summon because they are semi-randonly triggered? That everything else that could ahve added a little depth to the game is prompted by a big flashing button so the game basically tells you what to do and when to do it?

Honestly, how much does this feel like an interactive anime rather than a videogame?

Beatrix and Agrias both have renewable Sentinel, Gilgamesh has one-time Sentinel. Ingus has renewable Sentinel. All those are BSBs.

There's a bunch of SSBs that do it too, like Leon or Basch, and there's of course Runic for Exdeath and Celes.

We might (only might) actually be getting the XV event early for RK.

The datamined schedule for XIV has it starting the 31st.

The next event after that is the XIII Lightning OSB event on February 12th.

That'd be a whole two weeks between the two; plenty of room to slip Noctis in early, especially since there's no attached relic banner.

The one problem I see with that is that they don't introduce the Apocalypse/Ruin+ event stages until like the NEXT X event after Seymour which is almost like half a year away.

Tried doing pubs but every time I switch Wakka to Aerith nobody brings Full Breaks, and every time I switch Aerith to Wakka we only have one healer and somebody keeps overriding Wakka's Full Breakdown with Full Breaks.
