Sephirot was worshiped by tree people. Sophia was worshiped by a ton of races. Zurvan is worshiped by a bunch of horses in a game and series where horses are largely irrelevant because we usually use KFC meals as transport. So I'm hoping for at least a good lore reason why these horses mattered in Meracydia. At least the tree people worshiping Sephirot made sense, and Sophia having a ton of races worshiping her and her ability to maintain balance between all of them made sense

Hard to gauge, I'd say its about the same. You're more limited in tools due to no addons but the game makes an effort to make a lot of furniture and such interactable for you and provides you with an RP tag visible to everyone and a (very small) portion in your search info to get things started if you choose to use it that way. You get housing(which is expensive as all fuck) too.

In terms of community you have the good and bad. People who spend more time on their pretty profiles and theme songs than they do actually RPing, mile long paragraph RPers who will expect you to pause for and then read a fucking novel about the way the wind makes their hair blow as they tell you in an obnoxiously verbose manner that they are hungry, and of course the futafag degenerate ERPers you see here in this thread. Par for the course nowadays I guess, there is still some sweet corn in the shitpile.

If you decide to do a trial though be aware you won't be getting anywhere near our RP server, its locked down 24/7 because its so busy.

Yeah, its pretty great for that. You'll have to reach out to them though as like any other server nowadays people are pretty shut-in and folks who have the balls to engage folks they don't know are the exception. Outside of the Quicksand anyway.

I want a boss that moves absurdly fast.

Not only would he have a movement speed that can take him clear across a 24 man arena in half a second, he would also have a haste buff so completely over the top that he auto-attacks 10 times a second and has attacks that involve a cast bar briefly flickering on the screen just to give emphasis into how fucking fast the boss is.

I'm no Bard expert but im pretty sure Quick Nock is a DPS gain with 3+ targets, and if I got an ARC in a lowbie party or a BLM I'd be pulling more mobs. In terms of focusing his target you shouldn't really be using much single target skills in trash pulls unless you don't have AoE which happens in low levels, so its 'ideal' to focus their target. That being said a MRD shouldn't be scrambling to hold threat with trash packs after just 2 overpower where they can focus on single target too. I think hes just bitching. You see this kind of attitude from two types of people. Other new players who think they are the boss because their high level friend told them "Youre the boss as tank" when they started, and mentors who believe they can never be wrong because they have a crown next to their head for running a few dungeons.

Although I also wanna note that ARC is one of the highest initial burst damage classes in the early stages of the game and you can often rip single target aggro off of tanks even in single target situations if they aren't geared and playing well, so it tends to happen a lot in AoE situations when you need to apply Straight Shot and Bloodletter in your opener on trash pulls.

No, just finish melding your crafted pants if you want an upgrade. If you can't get Alexandrian pants, then you also can't upgrade the Shire pants to 270, which is what it takes for them to be an upgrade over crafted.
