I have pretty much accepted that next season I will run my preferred mono-WW for the most part, but will be forced to go back to WW/Dark for the mono-ardor teams I am going to meet.

Choi/Meta/Vic is actually easy to deal with for mono WW, and Nera alone will bully meta. But when Meta becomes Lia it all gets fucked up.

Nera used to need to win the flip to active pass to meiran, but now it is better if she loses so the enemy starts with meta holding the ball. This was always possible but ace burst Meiran makes it even more one sided.

Choi is easy. Just make sure he gets KOd first and he won't be doing shit for the rest of the match. Much like Bell, he is hard to stop during his attack phase but is vulnerable otherwise. With the exception of WWniggers ofcourse.

Meiran for sure, and then either VF or meta (used to run meta CM, but meta stopping victoira on the right worked better).

I briefly tried Meiran/Nera/Victoria but the reflex gain didn't seem worth it. (This is still with silk ace in this picture).

With Meiran ace giving 64% more attack and 32% more speed Nera steal damage gets a bit excessive and her speed jumps to around 126 at the start of the match.

Her reflexes drop way down though (to around 2000 when facing meta or lia) when you use VF and no silk ace, but VF is dragging down their reflexes as well.

Nera CM has no natural defenses besides high natural reflex and inflicting a lot of damage when they try to pen through her. She will kill most virgil or duran break out attempts that come up through mid and survive at 1hp typically.

Yuri absolutely fucks Nera up, same with victoria.

They need to add more achievements

Red reflex in prism, yes.

You want nera somewhat near equal reflex footing as most of the metas you meet and that needs a reflex stone. They wont reliably steal from each other and that is fine. Nera simply comes out ahead in damage, but with none of the benefits meta brings when being attacked.

Gather littres and beelzebub for important characters. They can go to 6* now giving more stats. Try climbing CoD and specially CoT because of it's rewards, try climbing PvP as best you can (outside of pre-season ) because the crystals and d-stone are valuable anyway.

See if you can do a practice PVP match with CoH. He can show you Uriel done right.

It is hard to describe that sense of helplessness as you team can go 35 minutes without taking a followup shot on net despite reaching the frontline 6 times.

If virgil or ivy are the ones killing your ball holder they get to use an active heal, and they still remain at 100% AB ready to kill you the moment you return to the front line.

Worse, by the time you get back your player that died with an almost-full action bar will have revived and be at only 86 life again. The ball automatically goes to him, and virgil re-kills him.

You have to hope the player that died is still dead the next time you reach the front, because otherwise the only way you are getting a shot on net is with a long pass or a healer of your own.

More than just that. She appears off-color on otherwise mono or dedicated two color teams. They don't consider themselves rainbow, and they still run mono or 2-color aces, but they start to make compromises.

Dedicated WW/Dark team, but they consider adding victoira because she is better than any dark or WW player. Whatever you lose by going off color, you gain by having a midline player that surpasses most legends.

That is the reason ace bursts were added. You could improve virtually any team in the game by simply adding both Victoria and Elaine, regardless of ace or whoever else was on that line with them. They will be vastly superior to whoever they replaced in that position.

Luka was like this in 2015. Virtually any team could be improved by throwing her up front with an IC. No other assist, least of all baltheon, could match her performance.

latios has better synergy with kei and has the only global light totem, she'd be a better fit for that setup. on an uriel team isillia is very good because she allows your backline to steal more consistently and the 20 minute conditional isn't as bad as it normally is because all the action bar restoration makes the clock less of an issue.

losing metatron is also a big blow to uriel because it's free action bar restoration and a way to revive uriel when the enemy backline kills her. since uriel gets so much action bar after shooting, the ball will often end up in her hands when it reaches the frontline again so being able to make those repeat shots when your backline brings the ball back is important.

Jin is always there, and magnus. magnus is used a lot lately so nera often has her teamwork stacks active.

I can grab a shot without enemy magnus after my battle balls come back.

She has enough reflex to counterattack backline players, but not the crazy high reflex you see on 4-man thunder lines or on Duke/meta/Victoria.

She usually inflicts enough lethal damage to people trying to pen through her that they are stopped even without reflexes triggering.

If she is stuck holding the ball after stealing it people will obviously kill her. She has no real defensive traits.

Nera works fine on the midline flank too. She will steal from the CM even from the side, and your silk will finish them off.

Silk is a nice hp sponge in CM though. Much easier to get a full silk stack if she is CM and keep the stack from timing out (5 minutes I think).

I actually ran Meiran/Nera/Silk a few months ago and Nera/silk double team "steal" attacked most enemies. This was before meiran ace though and it wasn't as effective. Ihave not tired it after the ace burst was added.

I met a handful of 14-15k light teams running the usual beth/Sammy/Duke mid. I seriously don't ever recall ever having trouble getting through. Beth went down easier than Duke did and she goes passive when hurt (if not killed outright).

Passing on the backline is no a big deal unless you have BT. Most other GK pass for fuck all, and other players pen instead of passing. Kiki's pass buff is often wasted.

An attack from orses:

Plus she self buffs 30% reflex and 30% crit rate.

Most importantly she has a much better chance of penetrating through Elaine than kiki.

To the guy asking about 5-10 the other day, still possible after DR nerf, just make sure Virgil never passes Luka.

VF can usually withstand superplay steal by Bell, but she'd need a lot of investment to survive superplay pen. HP stones are really important for staying above DR threshold, also can use VIT managers.

Batt, two reflex stones and light HP. Had little trouble with keeping Meta alive, she should be 1000-1200 HP at the start.

Biggest problems for me was VF getting hammered and Serestia using active on Meta as usual, something important to note is that when an enemy pens against two targets and a CA happens, the unit with highest reflex will do the CA, that can end a game when Serestia actives on Meta and then Silla will do the CA and then get smashed (friend Silla aces usually suck and are 700-900 HP or so), luckily though the active only lasts 5m and has high CD.

It was more dangerous before they nerfed the fuck out of starting AB and killed the Nera-Merian combo.

That often resulted in two stacks (30% speed and 30% attack) right at the start of the match. One stack from the pen attack, and one stack from the pass that followed.

Even without Nera's active pass the match often begins with a normal pass from Nera to Meiran.

That results in pic related penetrating through the side with the lowest reflex player. This is with a normal pass and it is usually enough to break through. If Meiran breaks through (which is often) then you still get the teamwide 30% speed and attack buff from the two stacks.

The thing that fucks this up is the fact that VF is almost as fast as Meiran, and she has a chance of receiving Nera's opening pass instead due to RNG. When it is VF breaking through you miss out on the 30% teamwide buffs.
