Some people can play Torb really well, yes. I have stopped shouting at anyone no matter what they pick and just give them a chance. If the team isnt tilting because of internal arguments sometimes the results are surprisingly good. Do a straight charge into enemy it doesn't connect they just get slowly pushed to the side or somehow put into the air without trying. Yet I see someone else charge in a random direction it auto connects to enemy killing them. This shit is almost as wonky as Roadhog's hook.

Every fight you open with EMP is basically a guaranteed fuckfest for the enemy team. It's kind of a cheesy tactic, but it lets you tear through the enemy team because nobody really knows how to deal with it.

You sorta have to try it out to see how effective it is, and by god it's effective.

It's more that her design was greater healing at the cost of offence, and the problem with that is that Ana completely pissed over that rule. Meaning they either need to nerf Ana (past the already necessary "this kills the tank meta" line) or buff Mercy.

I usually don't mess with McCree. But If they attack me, I'll have to try and win. I usually do if they miss the stun or if they miss the shot on the stun.

Tracers on the other hand are simple. just flak them with it and they'll eventually run into a few and die. Just gotta bait their recall and make sure you dodge the grenade and don't get hit.

Sombra is just piss easy to kill.

Killed Roadhog a couple times...it's scary. Like a Dark Souls boss for me.

but recently in Quick play matches I've started hiding near the enemy spawn at game start on defense and flanking behind them. It works almost every time I do it. They never expect a Mercy just to come from behind. I get a pick or two and run back behind the rest of the team. It's hilarious.

Why is it fair that d.va can outdps reaper at point blank range?

Is there any better feeling than having a stranger compliment your healing?

Everything about this game is fun EXCEPT for the fact that Torbjorn is in it. He just completely ruins the game for everyone. I have a 51% win rate overall, so I'm just pretty average at the game. However, my Torb win % is 80%, and I've played him a bunch so that's not just a couple wins. Every other match is basically whether a team can successfully turtle with their Torb (or, more likely, your 2 or 3 Torbs). If correctly combined with a Reinhart and some good players, some maps are virtually unwinnable on attack.

This game is super fun other than him. The heroes feel varied and bring entirely different play styles which are fun and unique. However, inevitably playing "kill the turret and try to make a push before they can set up again" is super fucking boring and ruins the experience.

I know I'll get flamed for this, whatever. I know there are posts about this every day but the posts need to KEEP COMING so that something can be done about it.

If you're good then you'll be playing against shitters who don't stop reloading and you'll get it quick. After a while it's either people who are just good and doing it for a giggle or people who are also grinding for achievements.

But the thing is, is that If you get a Mercy who does her job very well she can outplay many of the other supports in how useful she can be. all that's required is that her team be competent, which is the hard part, if her team is bad there's not much she can do besides heal them and try to stay alive.

it's the little things she can do that most players don't do that make her invaluble.

I had moment similar to that. It was on kings row and I was playing Mercy. Got hooked into an alleyway, but got stuck on a corner so I lived. I started to fight back and I ended up getting him to use his heal. He hooked me and he then missed the shot. I finished him off. their lucio decides to come by to see what was happening and I ended up killing him too.

What is the design intent behind having both Dva and Winston in the same game? Why have two low damage mobile tanks ESPECIALLY when one completely outclasses the other.

Winston was supposed to be less tanky but more mobile, his gun was also supposed to be more punishing towards fast moving heroes and heroes who grouped up with others. Winston was also supposed to provide a utility to forcibly take spaces or create openings for other team members.

D.Va was designed to be more of a duelist. She's tankier, does more damage to single targets, and has that DM that shuts down a target. Killing her already strong mecha wasn't the end of it either, if you were already worn down by her mech, baby d.va was supposed to be able to land a love tap that would put you out of your misery.

Buffing Winston's damage is gonna push D.Va out of the meta. Again. This is kind of a crazy idea, but here's what I consider would be some buffs that would "differentiate" Winston from D.Va. What if, Winston's tesla cannon blocked healing? Gives a healing block effect that lingers for 2-3 seconds after Winston stops shooting lightning. The fact that you need an Ana nade to counter an Ana nade has always been absolutely horrible and has done nothing but made this tank meta so much worse.

But, there's still the problem of D.Va being able to chase down Winstons and Lucios being able to speed boost away with relative ease. Symmetra being popular and Soldier's raw damage now also makes it a lot harder for Winston to stay in the middle of things, so he definitely needs 2-3 seconds taken out of his jump's cooldown as well.

I also think his barrier is too weak, I guess an extra 200 health would fix it. 800 health on a barrier is pretty fair. Especially since it has such a long cooldown.

Putting D.Va out of the meta should be the goal at this point, she's unfun to play against and her defense matrix slows down engagements to a snail pace, completely denying hitscan and DPS heroes.

Defense Matrix's cooldown needs to be increased by 100%, her HP needs to go back down to 500hp, and hopefully that would discourage people from playing her in every single game and having 3-4 tanks since her DM combined with Rein's shield is the backbone of that strategy.

If Winston had stupid short leap cooldown for a clear mobility advantage he would at least have something over Dva.

The barrier is super trash and something needs to happen to it. Much more health and/or a shorter cooldown would fix this.

His ultimate is also super, super situational. I think being immune to stuns and traps would at least introduce some counterplay to Ana being able to shut down EVERYTHING in the game.

Now it can be controlled much better and is absurdly OP because it's so flexible and D.Va can switch between shooting and having it open for exactly when she needs to before going back to shooting again. Lucio tags 2 allied heroes and now those two heroes receive Lucio's buffs regardless of range. If Lucio tags a new team member, the first tagged team member loses their tag. His speed boost is the same, but his heal is doubled now.
