Oh yeah that makes more sense. I do try to diversify their faces, but its just kind of a pain to do so with this body. But I'm pretty pleased with how Yvenn turned out. Yeah the problem with the weight in regards to that body is that the slide just makes the position of the arms change from either close to the body or farther away from the body. The torso size isn't actually altered. So in regards to body shape there really isn't much I can do. All I can really do is alter the face. But I'll see about the nose.

I'm prepping for the STEP Patches and I realize one of the required mods is Enhanced Lighting for ENB (ELE) - LITE, but I haven't yet installed ENB because STEP recommends a clean install before getting crazy with the .ini files. Hey guys. I know you're mainly all about the newer games around here, but I wanted to play Morrowind again and wanted to know which guide you thought was best to do so? There's the Morrowind 2016 pastebin, which seems alright but a little excessive, and then there's the STEP guide that is only missing a few gameplay tweaks as far as I can see and is much more minimal. MGSO is old and full of bugs and OpenMW doesn't work with MGE so I'm not sure I want to go that route unless it doesn't matter that much.

Any suggestions?

I actually did spend all the time to do it and ran into a bunch of bugs that I fixed and the process of doing that made me want to just start over because I thought I'd run into more, especially once I get to Tamriel Rebuilt, where a bunch of the mods in the pastebin still rely on their old .esm. I guess I can just suck it up though since it took like 8 hours.

I'm still having this problem though, which I'm guessing comes from some combination of Distant Land and Hlaalu Bump Mapped. I think the bump mapped mods look much better than the alternatives. But buildings with these textures show up as darker in the distance and lighten up as I get closer to them.

I remade the Distant land like 6 different times with different settings toggled and different combinations of no textures from the mod, the other alternative, and even textures from both just to see what would happen. Also toggled a bunch of other settings, like loading the textures in two parts and reducing quality at a distance. I just can't stand Balmora being white is all.

What I was doing is picking mods I thought were closer to vanilla and packing them all into a single .zip file with the GOG edition of the game so that I can send it to my friends who own it without them all having to do this tedious work. The darker textures thing isn't such a big deal, but if I run into more texture errors and have to keep telling them to delete files, it defeats the purpose.

Most normal skyrim mods with an esp need porting. Some of the simple stuff has been ported. Some meshes have to be converted and some textures need their compression type changed or they will ctd.

I'm not sure about hud mods.
Most of the heavy gameplay related stuff takes skse so you won't have those.

I'd just do normal Skyrim, anon. You might get slightly higher framerate in SE but that's all it has going for it at the moment.

Now that depends. Plenty of complex mods can be made using native papyrus scripting. Some of the bigger name mods like Frostfall have ported older versions of their mods that don't rely on SKSE to function over to SE. It's just back to the bad old days of book and spell based menu systems.

I imagine that a lot of modders won't even bother porting their shit until they have SKSE though.
