Alright reposting from last thread.

Dude what in the fuck is going on in Dead by Daylight?

Every other match it's "failed to join game," then you have to either restart the client or get an infinite pulsing loading screen, which makes you restart the client. I have literally had to restart the game 5 times through task manager to find one game.

This piece of shit is literally unplayable, and the devs should be jumping out of their ass talking to the players and working on a hotfix immediately, but they haven't said SHIT, and this is during/right after a FREE WEEKEND.

What kind of asshole developers did I just give money to?

I'm seriously considering pre-ordering Friday the 13th just because I know it can't possibly have servers and matchmaking that are this bad. I've never seen a game pull this shit, ever. These devs must be fucking morons, they gained and lost a player in less than 8 hours.

I'm new to DBD and I've only played as killer.
If someone sabotages all of your hooks and then runs to the edge of the map you're in the right to drop that spastic piece of shit on the ground and just stare at him all game, right?
I just had a game as myers where two raging shitcunts destroyed all of my hooks in a minute and it was just a clownshow from there on out; to the point I drug the jake that kept trying to save them to the exit just so they'd bleed out.

Survivors never go easy on killers, why should killers do the same?

I think you really grossly underestimate her ability to apply pressure to the map.
Pick 4 gens close the one another and put 2 traps at each.

Corral the survivors to you and keep placing traps when they're popped.
At 2 gens left, if you're smart you've pretty much won the game because they won't be able to get gens without getting hit/downed and slowly pick them off.

For the most part the character hate is memes. You know well that perkwise they aren't different, they're just all derpy in their own way, and sometimes are harder to spot due to varied outfits. I hooked someone, then checked the closest gen and there was two there. I chainsawed one. And I assumed the other would run for the hook so I chainsawed back, and the 4th one blocked me and took the saw so they could get the unhook. But then I was immediately able to saw the savior. So there was three slugs and an injured person. Here's how I see we'll do tier lists

>mid game tier
>late game tier

early on Jason is weak but the counselors have no defenses

mid game Jason is a little more powerful but counselors have weapons and begun find important items to escaping

Late game Jason is very powerful and the counselors are the same or weaker because their weapons might have broken, they'll be injured, and have used up their pocket knives and probably not found anymore

I think we'll have tiers for the counselors and jason's of who do better at what point

I played Dead by Daylight in that open beta it had and it was meh because you could outrun the killer by jumping through windows as he is slower when doing this kind of action.

If you like that kind of game, I think it's definitely worth it, especially on sale.

But goddamn the bugs are so bad I almost got a refund after 2 hours of playing, even though when I could get into a game I absolutely loved it.

You have to know a few tricks, which is bullshit but it's the only way to get it to consistently work, such as only queuing up with the 'Survive with Friends' option to avoid "failed to join game" and infinite loading screens which happen literally every other game.

The game itself is really fun, just be prepared for some bullshit. It has tons of players too, which is nice.
