Balmung and Gilgamesh are the most popular NA servers.
They're also full at all times of the day so it's near impossible to create a character there.

It's the most popular server overall and is basically perma locked because of this. It's the go to RP server, think of it like the Moonguard of XIV. I like Balmung for certain aspects i.e. cities are full, people are out in the world together RPing and it's kinda neat.

Otherwise I find it not too great of a place as the duty finder is trash and a lot of people are stuck in their RP personality that they are void of an actual personality.

Nah, sorry. I never really used it with tank stuff anyway. I had the Gnath arms with the Wrangler set for MCH because I kinda liked having monster arms for a while.

It's mostly just a feeling because the plate for the Vath stuff is much more organic and rough, whereas the standard FF14 plate is sleek and often shiny.

Gauss barrel should be off when you have no oGCDs up and doing hotshot/split shot/slug shot. Gauss should be on for oGCDS/Lead Shot/Clean Shot. You'll notice there are specific parts in your rotation where you can drop gauss barrel pretty much every time, but until you get used to it, dont worry about toggling it much and just keep it on all the time.

Outside of that, hit buttons on cooldown. Theres not much to MCH outside of the opener and GB toggling
