Anyone not get the feeling that the old pvp server was just a trap for Chinese to sink into? They are going to go balls deep into that server with gold selling, because no one wants to farm themselves and only play pvp on their old 60. With no comp in PvE they will ruin the econ further than it is, and sell their gold to the pvp'ers that need their pots/buffs.

With fresh, they can't do that as easily, since everyone is heading to endgame, which means they are building the market in correlation with population. At worst, the new server would see a smaller rise in powerleveling services, that is, if the vodkas don't put a shop in by then to just buy a 60 on the server.

Regardless, I assume their goals were to use the old server as bait to bring back nost players, and new ones, and the new pvp/pve server was to set the hook.

The new Nostalrius project seems very unstable. On the website is says that the PvP server only has funding for 2 months. What's going to happen when the game gets a bit older and there's no longer enough generous donators? Going month to month not knowing if the game is even going to stay up for much longer doesn't seem very reassuring.

It's honestly not bad. Spec for wands and spirit tap and be smart about it. Most of the time all you're doing is putting up SW:Pain, bubbling yourself and wanding mobs to death. Anything else will cause you to go oom in a hurry.
