Even if that was true, when Zen is bounced he can focus that target down without suffering to extensive kit cool downs (he can immediately toss the discord on another target) and without ceasing healing (still doing his primary job to his team). Meanwhile Ana has to blow her dart (and the cooldown), use her nade (which would've gotten exponentially more value used on her team), and then STOP healing while you two slug it out. Even then, her rifle fires slow compared to anyone attacking her and weapon is damage over time, meaning even if she hits you assuming you're not shit you can still kill her.

IF you really think Ana's rifle and bio grenade is more lethal than the Peacekeeper and a flash you're fucking bad at DPS and you need to consider a long, healthy career as a Reinhardt

i think there can be set patterns to react on, rather than like having to react and think as it happens you go in knowing that there are a couple of things that could occur and then for each you have a plan of action, when something does happen you instantly switch into executing that. it should come naturally eventually but thinking about that stuff im sure it will help to learn and try which then makes it become natural faster. ive used something similar in other games to increase my reaction times

with the flankers sometimes you are just out of luck i guess, definitely depends on the teammates to keep an eye out. maybe being closer to them at times can help them spot your attacker more easily, if you are all alone it makes it easier for the flanker you are inviting them potentially but it just happens either way thats what they try to do

They've been pretty on the ball up until recently with listening and providing feedback to their community, both in communication and tweaking their game. They care about the core expereience and this has been obvious since before even Beta. A characters cultural background isn't going to somehow magically degrade the core gameplay.

I hate tokenism and diversity pandering as much as any other reasonable person, but they're literally working with an original IP and original characters, they haven't compromised anything due to trying to to make the cast culturally diverse, as there isn't existing lore to retcon or fuck with just for 'muh diversity', which is why people have a problem with it in the first place: it's usually poorly done and compromises the lore or narrative, or is so blatant and hamfisted that it's obnoxious.
